we were wondering if there is some way for both of us to use this site even though we have same IP? Is there some type of white list to get put on so we don't get banned? thank you!

As long as you have two separate Steam accounts, I'm pretty sure you're good to go (if you both follow the rules).

If you use the same Steam account (i.e. the same account here), the biggest problem I can think of is your brother using all your points... (:

Nah, me and my brother are under the same router and use this website, but since we have different steam accounts, it's all good.

"One account per ip". Read rules.

That would be why they're asking about the whitelist. A lot of places with one-account rules will have a whitelist for households. Separate account, separate humans.

when you use a different computer, you get a different IP by default so if there are two seperate people with seperate steam accounts, it should not be a problem.

Your computers get a different IP on your home network. But the IP read by the site is the same for every pc on that router.

if you are sharing the same internet, unless you buy seperate ips. nope. It is only different in internal ips in the network.

I'm pretty sure that rule wasn't there when I got invited to the website. Maybe it was added later; still, using (valuable) steam accounts as an user indicator seems much more precise than IPs.

I'm doing the same thing; my younger brother is signing up as I type.

We're going to have the same IP address, but he has his own Steam account and games. Hopefully that's not going to be a problem?
