Another special for NZ Steam subscribers - The Witcher Trilogy is $70 NZD.

I've worked out the components if you divided them up:

  • The Witcher 1 works out to $7.77 NZD = $5.94 USD
  • The Witcher 2 works out to $15.55 NZD = $11.90 USD
  • The Witcher 3 works out to $46.66 NZD = $35.70 USD ie. the cheapest ROW Steam price for the game (in fact it's the cheapest ROW Steam price for the trilogy).

The trilogy price when converted to USD is essentially The Witcher 3's pre-purchase sale price, but you get The Witcher 1 & 2 as well.

Seriously?! It's fucking $99.99 USD here in Australia. $105.57 USD if you buy them all separately.

It's actually $84.99. As with the vast majority of games that I've checked, the price increases once you reach the checkout.

Same happen with Norway too, most prices were old euro prices with krones as currency (making look like -90% glitches, because 1€ ~ 10 kr).

Am I looking at it wrong? When I look up The Witcher 3 on the NZ store it says $79.99. And for whatever reason it says the trilogy is $69.99.

Edit: Ahhh, gotcha. Read the post wrong. I see what you mean now!

It's actually $85 NZD, while Witcher 3 alone is $100 NZD (if you don't own W1/W2, which gives loyalty discount).
