Some Level 8 stats: Only 0.037% of the roughly 800 000 Steamgifts users are Level 8+ (according to numbers from November 2015). If we we only count contributing users (Level 1+, a bit over 100 000 users), only 0.26% are Level 8+.
So, you're definitively in the top layer of Steamgifts now! That, and starting one of the most replied to threads in the history of Steamgifts should put you in the hall of fame ;)

I'm guessing a higher percentage of the higher level users are active in the forum, so there seems to be more of us.
Ooh, I just saw some new stats from a few days ago. 199 Level 8 users, 116 Level 9 and 76 Level 10. So, if you're Level 8 you're in the top 400 (391), out of over 870 000 users. So, Level 8+ now consists of 0.045% of the users.

Wow, Im level 8 !!!
It feels pretty amazing. I never thought I'd get there so fast (well, one would say one and a half years is not that fast compared to some other people that showed up here recently, but considering the size of my wallet it is fast indeed), and here I am :)
To make it a worthy celebration I prepared a trainride for this lovely community I like to spend so much time with. A big thank you goes out to all the people I've won so many great games from in the past few months ♥
