The best is to hold on for the Halloween sales, but you can make a list of potential games to keep your eyes on.

Since the games that I was going to suggest were already mentioned, I will just bump.

A friend of mine made me look up to this Redout. If you like Racing games I think it's a pretty good one, but I loved this kind of racing game back in the days. Maybe you'll like it too and it will get discounted on next sales.
The only problem that it has is that it's no really know so the multiplayer is not really populated.

If you haven't played Hero of the Kingdom, and Hero of the Kingdom II, do it! It's great!

If you haven't played Borderlands it's always fun, even if you're not a FPS player like me.

One of my favourite games of all time is Submerged. I have a review of it and about 40 or so screenshots for it on my Profile at Steam if you are interested in the game.:)

It is not an overly long game, but I think it is well worth the money. The water effects, weather effects, sound effects, and the graphics of the flooded city are amazing. It has that post-apocalyptic feeling and makes you wonder what exactly caused the calamity in the first place.

A word of warning, there is no combat in the game and no way of dying. It is a game of exploration after all.

The last time it was on sale it was 75% off (I bought it full price, but I was fine with that, you may not be), and I imagine that it will go on that discount again during the next big sale (Halloween sale).
