I too have an impersonator, and on these very forums at that. He constantly makes stupid posts to make me look bad. If you see my name above a dumb post, be wary, for you are seeing the impostor.

I'm glad that it is getting looked after for you. Hopefully it will be taken care of as soon as possible and that person is tossed away.

I had one. I changed my avatar to say I'm being impersonated and it gave my info, including my level and game count. As soon as he saw it, he moved on. He had no other move. He couldn't steal my avatar or send people to my feedback page.

I was lucky, though. I didn't get any negative feedback out of it. Unfortunately, one got through, for you. I hope it sorts itself out, soon. Good luck.

Valve hasn't still done anything effective to stop impersonators, shame on them.

I dealt with mine by posting a warning on my avatar, after few days he started to impersonate someone else. I suggest you to do the same.

I think many of these kinds of scams could be avoided if cg added a note to the trade feedback section, check this topic

congrats, you should take advantage of this opportunity and scam as much people as possible. when they come back and complain to you, just point them to this thread :3
