If you're all going to ask why the manure tastes bad then continue to shovel it in your mouth.. Why should anyone care?
Or are we just wanting to bitch and moan?

Nope! I just want to know if I should wear my party pants or not.

They would increase crafting whether it was rigged or not so I doubt it is rigged

Your healthy dose of commonsense isn't appreciated here!

This is more crooked than Qatar winning the 2022 World Cup!

If you had any idea how much money people flush down the toilet just to buy cards, and craft the badges ...
I mean just look at winter sale, where people were getting level 1000 badges and shit ...
If you count it, for example level 400 badge is 400x10=4000 points.
Also now there are tokens to spam, which give/steal points.
It's not rigged, I can guarantee you that with 100.1% sure. Valve makes way too much money out of literally thin air, just to throw it all away for a tiny bit of extra money from the "extra competition".

First point, true. Second point, not so much. I don't think being able to see points go up and down really matters that much. Because as I think someone else posted, Valve just has give one team each day a multiplier on all the points earned. Doing something like doubling one team's points would give them a pretty big advantage over everyone else, which could effectively control the results.

Thought the same, cause it's nearly twice as much now, which to me seems rather impossible.

Okay so I am starting to think this is rigged indeed.. What idiots would continue spending money on crafting when you are ahead in 220k points and there are only 50 minutes left..
Comment has been collapsed.
For one, there are more than 6 hours left. And then not everybody cares about that. People will just craft badges when they feel like it. A friend in team Blue crafted 5 summer badges yesterday, when there was no chance for them winning. His reason: He doesn't care about the competition, he feels chances to win are too slim. So he just does what he feels like.

Was looking at the Flash sale counter lol. Regardless, cards cost too high to bother right now and they will drop more and more until the end of the sale, crafting for no reason is pointless.. Better save the money for when the cards are really low, they are already down to their pre sale prices.

I'm pretty sure people are using those token things to switch team to Green, and at this point they heavily outweigh all other teams.. Probably they won't get new members, but honestly all the "real" people were there on Day 1, couldn't pry em away with a crowbar.. The leftover late-to-show-up stragglers trying to level out this hideous shift to Green will not make up any difference.. All the "BUY VICTORY!" people are not only using the tokens to move to green, but also using all their point-steal things on anything but green (probably the #2 team).. I'd say if it /isn't/ rigged, then green will probably win every single day from here on out.

You do know that you can see data on sold tokens via the market, right? There's not that many people changing teams. And on any given day, they will join mostly the winning team. So I don't see a reason why that trend should favor green any more than it favoured purple (who looked like they could win first and second day for a long time) or red.

Yeah - on the first day, I was saying Purple would win every day due to the large gap they had on all the other teams. Then if you add people switching to that team and then those points being added the next day and such, it'd be out of control...
So, I think there's probably a handicap added behind the scenes for teams which haven't won yet. I mean, seriously, look at the amount Pink won by. 3 times as much as any other team put out?! Can't tell me there's no handicap on that....

Valve don't need to do anything, people will throw money at them anyway.
It's kinda blue blue team will get the least money out of it :(

There are that many Steam gamers on Reddit who agreed to follow a plan to effectively control the outcome of the daily point totals? If so, I'm actually kind of impressed. With how many gamers there are on Steam, I didn't think anyone could get enough people organized behind a single plan to control the results.

10 days total - 5 teams = 2 wins each.
Both teams won by taking large margins at the start and looks like green does it today.
So is it actually rigged to create competition to increase number of craftings?
No giveaway because I'm lazy...
