It seems, now that I look into it, that I was expelled from this group a few days ago. (In fact I'm still a member here on SG until my next sink.) Seeing the rules I can see why I'd have been expelled--I clearly haven't followed them. I'm sorry about that.

But here's the odd thing: I don't recall ever seeing the rules before. For that matter, I don't remember asking to join the group or being aware what it was. I vaguely remember just getting an invite one day, and I must have put off looking into it further and then forgotten about it. Is that possible? Did you guys add me out of the goodness of your hearts and then I just sat there like a potato?

When I ask to join a group I read its policies first. So this is sort of puzzling to me, and I also feel kind of bad about it. If you can tell me what happened I'd appreciate it.
