I think it's a great idea! If I could make one suggestion it would be to have the videos muted or volume all the way down by default.

I really don't like the location of the icon.

This is impressive. In addition to saving us a trip to the store page, the viewer is a lot nicer than Steam's.

Generally I like it, it seems to be faster than loading store page, but it really needs some tweaks to protect from NSFW games.
Also some key shortcuts for better UX wouldn't hurt either :)

it's a shame that in all the time since this has been released it was never improved upon to make it more user friendly.
and by that i mean:
-there is no click to advance image
-you can't use arrow keys to go to the next or previous image
-you can't use escape to exit the images

but if instead of clicking on the camera i move my mouse just slightly to the left and middle click on the steam shortcut, and then just click the first image i can do all of the the above. even the 'next' and 'prev' allow you to go through all the images, a big improvement over clicking on each image one by one.

it's a shame that something that could be so useful is of no real advantage than just going to the store page, which you have already provided a direct link to.
