Sometimes I encounter a thread or post mentioning how depressed a person is. Sometimes it's on Steamgifts, sometimes not, but no matter where it is, I am saddened by the fact that I feel so powerless to provide help to said people. I care about them, but I do not feel that I, alone, can beat the sadness or depression the person is going through, even if I tried. Most of the time they don't realize that many people, friends and strangers alike, care for them, which makes it harder to attempt to help in any way.
So, you, random person who is reading this. If you are feeling down, depressed, sad... please keep this in mind - no matter who you are, no matter who you know; we care for you. It is not because we have never heard of you or seen you that we don't care about you. The strangest of strangers could be your best friend, you just don't know it yet.
And you, random person who does not feel depressed. Thank you, for helping others overcome this hardship. Without even trying, some of you have probably helped someone more than you can ever imagine. The smallest thing for one person can be the greatest inspiration to another.
I'm not sure why I'm typing this here. It seems like the best thread to place my thoughts.

I've noticed a rising amount of negative posts and threads lately on SG. From sad and gloomy topics to rants and angry posts, it just makes me feel slightly depressed.
To counter the negativity, I created this 100% positive thread! The one rule of this thread - think and post positively!
Tell me what good thing has been happening in your life, post cheerful gifs, anything really. Let's cheer up those who feel sad, and maintain the mood of those who don't. ^^
