Another bump for some good giveaways.
Hm, positive something... I'm trying out Ghostrunner and it's crazy hard, but thank goodness it has assist options! I used to be able to bang my head against the wall of difficult games for hours, but these days that's just not something I have time for. With assist options on, it becomes more Mirror's Edge sequel with extra stabbing. Just finished Mirror's Edge, so it's kind of a nice continuation.

Nice to know you enjoyed it. I had a bad experience with it, Mods helped me get through that game. The gameplay felt so pointlessly and deliberately hard, the story was not worth the grind imo. Ghostrunner 2 is apparently even worse in terms of story. Im at a point where I reserve my energy for stories I enjoy, cz games keep getting better over the years and new ones keep on coming but the time for playing is unfortunately finite.
Heard great stuff about Mirror's edge though, I look forward to it!

Mirror's Edge has some nice story betweens, and a few super tricky spots involving guys with guns where you have to disarm them. Separate from those, I fell off a lot of buildings. So many. I'm glad I finished the story, but wouldn't replay it. Recommend reading some advice on the end building fight for best practices when you reach it, if you run into frustrating troubles.

I played it on normal difficulty (no assist etc) up to a point, I did not mind the difficulty because of the fast resets and frequent checkpoints - an absolute necessity for me with hard games. The problem is that I encountered a portion of the game that frequently crashes when you reset... it completely killed my playthrough, so I dropped it. I wonder if they patched it, since then.

They probably did, as I played through game before and I never had that. Do you recall where it was?

It has been a long time, but it was a part where there are some explosive... dogs? Or some kind of crawling creatures. The strategy seemed to be running away/dodging them, but once I got blown up and hit the quick reset button, the game would crash with a UE error message.

I think those were spiders, but yeah it didn't crash for me at that place.

love it when the difficult games have assist modes so you don't have to leave them incomplete. The King's Bird is one of the biggest examples of it for me... I had to turn it on for the first area after the beginning one... otherwise would have had to drop the game entirely.
that or modding options.

Here's my contribution for September. Action and typing mixed. At first feels very difficult until you get the mechanics. Simple to learn, hard to master, but I think it's for everyone.

Autumn is here! Time for couching, candles and hot tea. I would like to say after a decent stroll through the rain, but alas, I am too lazy.
Do you have any preferences when it comes to the season (whenever it may happen on your spot of the world)?

Always preferred the cooler weather myself, so late Autumn & Winter, I find it's easier to deal with the cold than the heat, it reaches a point when it's hot that you really can't do much to relieve the temperature. Probably living in Australia isn't the smartest idea....🤔

This game looks neat! Haven't played a good village builder in a long long while. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
In my area of California, I prefer the change of winter heading towards summer (it's often short to feel like a proper Spring). Summer here is very hot (swimming pools are nice, but sunburns not so much), and winter gets boring usually, as they're often dry or windy. Change into Fall isn't quite as nice as it usually also includes more work/chores.

I love Spring and late Summer! Living in a cool temperate climate, Winter is too long and Autumn is an unfortunate reminder that Winter is just around the corner.
Thanks for the contribution! :D

I've noticed a rising amount of negative posts and threads lately on SG. From sad and gloomy topics to rants and angry posts, it just makes me feel slightly depressed.
To counter the negativity, I created this 100% positive thread! The one rule of this thread - think and post positively!
Tell me what good thing has been happening in your life, post cheerful gifs, anything really. Let's cheer up those who feel sad, and maintain the mood of those who don't. ^^
Here's a small giveaway to celebrate positiveness: http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/HuABS/labyrinthine-dreams [ENDED]
Please note that I did not create this thread to devalue or disapprove of anyone who's posts are negative. Everyone has their share of sadness, anger or depression in life. Matter of fact, this thread is especially created in order to cheer up anyone who may be having negative emotions. :D
