Oh, and Hearth and Dawn are meh, the final DLC is good. You could probably wait awhile for the DLC.

You know what the say about a bird in the hand. I'd take the trade, if it looks good. No need to wait for the full pack. Take that with a grain of salt though, I haven't played Skyrim.

The base game is enough, I have no DLCs and I won't get them until they're ultra cheap or in an Legendary upgrade. Also there are tone of mods which make the DLC question redundant ;)

If it's a good trade then do it, but it really depends what exactly you're trading for it.

If the trade is very good go for it, you can always buy DLC during sales

If you plan to play the game right now and you liked the previous The Elder Scrolls games, why not?

Uhm, It depends on how much you intend to pay for the DLCs, but I think they are quite good and fun to play.

I say you don't need the DLC, it was mods that made it fun for me.

I'd suggest going to skyrim nexus and checking best 100 mods and see how many of those that doesn't make women naked require DLC.
