I was given the PS3 version by someone upgrading. Good enough for me.

I don't mind getting a copy if it's slightly cheaper. As much a GTA fan as I am, the current price is above what I would want to pay for this game.

After the release of the nearly unplayable GTA IV on Steam, I'll just wait and see about GTA V. I've got not much confidence in Rockstar's porting ability.

pre-ordering reminds me of the old saying "A fool and his money are soon parted."

I had been holding off, but finally caved yesterday. I was going to pre-order it from GMG (RGSC Code) yesterday since I had a 25% off code, but when I got to the check out it wouldn't accept the code. I double checked the email and noticed the code expired 2 minutes ago. I hope there is another discount before release.

No, I did not buy GTA5. For starters, pre-ordering sucks. Then, it is too expensive for my region. And the most importan reason: I rember how terrible was GTA4. And while Max Payne 3 had a good enough port, the game itself was so cutscene-heavy that it left an impression that Rockstar wants to make movies, not games. Yes, GTA5 got stellar reviews. But so did GTA4, that's why I kinda distrutful of hype.
