I can definitely recommend Tomb Raider Remastered to anyone who might be interested, it's really good and it even ran very well when I played it on my potato notebook.
Not quite sure of what, or if, I'll get something myself this month tho. Space Marine 2 is too pricey so I don't think I'll manage to get enough ARP in time, and of the rest I'm not quite convinced yet, I'll have to think about it.
Also, it takes some balls to ask that much for V Rising after they gave it away for free.

Gosh, it never rains but it pours 😄. Space Marine looks great, but as it's probably just the base game I might let it pass (if it's the deluxe or whatever then I'm totally going for it). Cat Quest looks great but maybe skippable in such a crowded month. Wild Planet looks interesting but there won't be any reviews until like the day before the vault so effectively buying blind. My heart is tugging me towards Tomb Raider (damn you nostalgia), those 3 games are real classics and from the videos I've seen it's a pretty respectful remaster and the price feels right, especially discounted.
I imagine it's going to be another quick vault this month but for once thanks to daylight saving (something I rarely say) it's not an unpleasant opening time for me. Beats 3 in the morning for sure.

I've sat out the past couple of vaults but I've seen the discussion around them, definitely saw the fracas over the Elder Scrolls online a few months ago; can't help but feel personally that AWA made a misjudgment with their response but, hey, it's not my sandbox 🤷♂️. I do know that tier 5 isn't the bulwark or cushion that it was even 6 months ago. Deluxe edition or not, Space Marine will be a bloodbath methinks 😳.

Just as an FYI to anyone who does the AWA artifacts scene (pretty much required imo if you want decent ARP) there are 10 new fragments available in the marketplace, available for 2 months, as well as a restock of the Chai Stones (aka calendar) artifact, the latter available for a month. Even if you are only vaguely interested in acquiring ARP on AWA this I feel is THE (normally acquirable) artifact to have, especially when upgraded, as it's totally passive and works with any bonus ARP given out on special event calendars as well.
It's also part of the near-legendary Stanley set which enables a 15% marketplace/vault discount when active. I feel this is one of the few artifacts that truly will pay for itself quickly.

thanks, i had the other two from the stanley set so bought this and upgraded it to platinum before my fragments got too low and equipped the set. replaced a 1% discount and +4 to daily time on site ARP since i didn't care about the robes until i had the full set.
as for the game vault, i'll try to get cat quest 3 this time. not interested in or already have the others.

It can be a pain shuffling artifacts but you might want to keep that time on site artifact on most of the time. The Chai stones bonus to calendar works regardless of whether the set is active or not. The Stanley set is great for Steam quests and vault discounts but by their very nature you only have those at comparatively brief and sporadic times. For me until this week it was only once a week, usually a Friday to do both Steam quests and vault day if I was trying my luck. The rest of the time you would accumulate more ARP by having other artifacts like the time on site, just remembering to switch for Steam quests or vault day.

In the "Discount Artifacts" image above, it shows 3 different possibilities with "Or" show twice. Are we each given a different set of artifacts to purchase? I don't see the ability to purchase "Light Warping" or the "H'erkow Fertility Robe". Is this because the ones that show up for us are random amongst the ones in the image? Thanks for the help.

That page lists the available artifacts at this time, namely the 3 starter artifacts (which are always available) and the temporary artifact for the time being, on this case the Chai Stones/calendar artifact. Most artifacts have been available either via marketplace purchase or occasionally calendar/community event reward. Others, notably light warping or the plasma artifact were only ever given away via giveaways or prizes in rng games. The fertility robe iirc was offered in the marketplace a few months ago, where as initially it was first given out as a calendar reward. I don't believe there's any other way to complete the set without it, as long as you've got the Steam & calendar artifact first of course.

The calendar is located on the bottom of the control panel page (ie https://anz.alienwarearena.com/control-center), it will highlight the daily ARP reward (including any Chai stone or artifact set bonus you might have), streak bonus, cosmetic reward, fragments or DRP if you're in a participating region. Community events will eventually be posted here (https://anz.alienwarearena.com/steam/events) but are usually posted on the main page in the news carousel for usually the first and second day of the event. They also get posted on their discord and usually someone posts details here as well, usually MeguminShiro. You might get a few days notice by keeping watch on the discord but generally there's more than enough time to complete the events.

This is a pretty in-depth guide put together by MeguminShiro https://na.alienwarearena.com/ucf/show/2167784 , it seems complicated at first, mostly because the artifact system has become quite substantial since it started, complicated by the multiple entry points for site users but it gives all the information you could need, as well as what you need for sets. Fragments are basically the currency you use to upgrade the (upgradeable) artifacts. For example the current Chai artifact gives a +1 to ALL calendar ARP; pump enough fragments (I won't lie, it takes a fair amount) into it and it eventually gives +6 which really turbo charges ARP accumulation.

I just did this, thank you. Since I never used anything of all of this, I was able to upgrade these Chai Stones to level 5 pretty much instantly. To complete a set I would have to wait till these artifacts show up randomly in the store, is that correct?

I'm afraid so, the Stanley set requires the Fertility Robes & Pn 295 Unstable battery, which have been made available in the marketplace. Bad part though is iirc these have already been re-offered this year so it could be a long wait to complete the set for the sweet 15% discount. There are other sets, including one which offers a blanket 10% increase to ARP (except twitch) but don't think those artifacts will come again soon (one of them was a reward in the last community event if you didn't already have it).
Bottom line I suppose, if you're going to throw your hat into the AWA ARP madness, snapping up artifacts and fragments is a no-brainer. It can come with obvious cost considerations though, I just saw the price of the Chai artifact this time around (3rd time it's been offered iirc), ouch. But if you're going to invest in this it quickly pays for itself.

Stanley set is where it's at. Once I finally got all 3 fully upgraded, it really started bringing in the ARP. I won't even bother with any other set.
I usually do all Steam quests as long as I own the game it requires, daily log in, Steam events (different from quests) and try to spend a little time on the site throughout the day. I don't ever do the Twitch streams but if for some reason I need to start accruing more ARP than I already do, I'll start doing those as well.

Truly the Stanley set was a game changer for most, that 15% discount is the best kind of icing. Although today I finally got enough fragments or upgrade my 2nd Steam artifact so I'll be using the 2 Steam artifacts from now on for the quests, the good ol Stanley will be relegated to vault days after nearly 2 years of sterling service 😄.
I do the Twitch most days, especially once I discovered you can actually pause the stream and just let the tracker do its thing. It can be difficult for me ATM (restricted to my phone for the time being) but worth it for now. Between the Twitch, calendar and time onsite I usually get around 50 ARP every day, plus Discord and daily quests and whatever on top. It takes along time to get going but once it does, whoa.

Well according to Megumin's charts (which is way better than my memory) the 1st and 2nd time Chai Stones came out it was 800 ARP, so a fair increase this time around. But as you can see now it pays for itself relatively quickly compared to other artifacts. A minimum +12 ARP (or +6 if there's a calendar bonus that day) just for visiting the site each day is hardly something to sneeze at 😉.

Yes. Store, calendar or a community event. Store is the most likely. Apart from the current one on offer the other best one is the one that gives +15 to Twitch points fully upgraded. Sadly it was on the store a few months ago again so it might take a long time till it shows up for a 3rd time.
Once you have the +15 Twitch artifact and the full Stanley set you are basically set. Further improvments are quite marginal.

The Twitch thing never works for me, I tried several times and let a stream run for a while, accounts properly connected and all that, but it never logged in any ARP, so I'm good skipping those. Fixing things like these goes beyond my willingness to invest time in this, tbh.

Next time (next day) on the step 3 you'll need to just press the Up arrow button (the script was saved and there is no need to copy-paste it one more time). Leave console open, and you'll see the messages that you are earning points and after watch capacity will reach max value, you will see a message about that.
I usually open "Control Center", open stream and apply the script and wait for 15+ minutes - both tabs open. So after 15+ minutes I've got ARP for "Time on site" and ARP for watching stream (I'm refreshing "Control center" from time to time just to see my progress).

Upon trying to paste the script I get the following error message:

Another usual problem is that the ARP tracker on the twitch streamer's page has a tendency not to load and start counting the ARP until you scroll down on the page to it. Which is easily fixable by simply scrolling down once when you open the twitch stream.

Just to make sure: you do have a Twitch account and are logged in when watching the streams and on this page, there is the "Arena Rewards Tracker" listed as connected? I'd also recommend trying it without that script first. It shouldn't be needed at all.
Like you already described: launch one of the streams listed in your AWA Control Center and scroll down until you see the AWA widget. It should look like in my screenshot, except that it should say that you're currently earning ARP. If it doesn't, please provide a screenshot of how it looks for you.

Just remember this routine and it should work. Without any artifacts, you can get 15 ARP per day, with both fully upgraded Twitch artifacts it can go up to 30+2 max. at the moment.

Glad to see you got it sorted! Just as a further FYI if you don't already know, take note of the Twitch streamer stratification, it makes a big difference now. Ignoring what the control panel says, only "Hive" streamers let you gain ARP at the normal/standard/same rate as before; Nexus & Partner streamers now take TWICE as long to gain the same amount of ARP. Depending on your timezone this could be quite a juggle, even pausing the stream only helps so much. Base rates (15) won't feel too bad but I assure you once you get an upgraded artifact (+15) the difference is really quite painful.

IMO, yes, yes and oh-my-deity yes. As passive ARP collection goes there's nothing better, most days of the month you get +12 ARP every day just for visiting the site, normal calendar on top and the bonus applies to special events like the Intel & AWA birthday ones in the past (unless you get DRP instead ☹️).
Of course your circumstances may vary, it may well come down to a choice between this and a game from the vault this month, or DRP when it gets restocked if you buy that. Everyone will approach this differently based on their goals for participating in AWA. But from a sheer accumulation of ARP standpoint the fully upgraded Chai Stones imo can't be beat, combined with the upgraded twitch it becomes a beast combination. Most of us have had to make the choice at some point in this program, between long term ARP accumulation versus short term acquisition, this exemplifies that dilemma for most. But for me personally it's a no-brainer.

Since other people are asking questions about ARP I'm gonna take this chance and ask how the Discord thing works. I have not managed to link my accounts because it apparently needs to be the same email address than my Alienware account and it isn't, is there any workaround or do I need to make another Discord account just for this? Also how does it work exactly?

You should be able to change your Discord email to your AWA email via your existing discord account settings and it should work from there, if not join the AWA discord with your existing account and get help from an admin in #report-issue, I've seen people get help for these email issues before. Then it should connect via control panel with no issues. Once connected you can pick as many servers or not as you want but the main bread and butter ARP-wise is #arena-connect https://discord.com/channels/97149047281827840/1069815226045833296
Here you'll find the adventure polls and/or other polls for the inbetween adventure periods. Select the option you want by clicking the relevant number under the poll. If you want to catch up on the adventure (a kind of communal choose-your-own-adventure with all the pitfalls that entails as well as some occasional, usually dismal, dice rolling segments) you can go to #adventure-archive. Discussion of the adventure can also be found in #arena-chat usually, especially for the more tricky polls. Moreover if you just want ARP and aren't interested in the adventure you can now pick the "null" option so as not to skew the adventure for those who care about it.
That's about it ARP wise, though for better or worse it is where AWA does most of their communication these days, you can often get a heads up there about community events and stuff.

Hope you have luck with that, though it's not a huge amount of ARP to forgo (5 ARP/5 days of the week, more or less depending on how good/disastrous any poll option with a dice roll goes - spoiler, the admin who does the dice rolls is not blessed by the gods of rng 😭 - sometimes there's a x2 bonus on poll ARP like the recent birthday event, or was it the Intel one I forget, and of course there's an artifact that boosts Discord ARP as well).
Where it's good though is ease of obtaining it, just one click and your done for the day for an average of 25 ARP a week, more often more, some fewer times less. I personally rate the discord artifact less important compared to others but it's ok if it's all you've got.

It can vary depending on successful or not poll choices/dice rolls. For example, today I received 7 ARP because of a successful communal dice roll yesterday. So this week will probably be closer to 30 overall unless I take the null options. I agree its not a huge amount to leap up about, it's why the discord artifact is pretty low on the list for fragment upgrades for me. Still it only takes me a second to open the page on my phone and quickly scan the poll options and click. Every little bit helps I suppose 🤷♂️. Maybe just doing them on the x2 event weeks would be more worth it.

Iirc the discord artifact is part of the more recent Zorathian Resistance set (along with the flux/community event and time on site artifact, well the original one at least), which gives a not too shabby +10% to most ARP. The Stanley set however requires the Chai stones, Herkow Robes and Pn 295 Battery (one of the steam artifacts, the 2nd one iirc). Sadly both those 2 latter ones have already been rereleased this year so not likely to pop up again for a while.

According to Megumin's guide (https://anz.alienwarearena.com/ucf/show/2167784) it's only been released once via marketplace, and that was in February of this year, feels longer though. All you can do is wait in afraid till AWA puts it out again somehow. It's a fairly basic artifact, starting at a +1 bonus to any AWA discord poll ranging to +5 when fully upgraded. It's best if you don't have much else, the set it's part of is pretty nice though.

To put it in perspective: I started leveling in Sep 2023, when I was at ~1000 ARP / T1 and had no artifacts and no idea about anything. I got a couple of very helpful hints by the wonderful PoeticKatana, especially the link to the artifact guide by the wonderful MeguminShiro and then it took me nine months to get to T5.
I have maxed out Chai Stones (Daily calendar, Nov '23) and PN295 (Twitch, May '24) for quite some time now plus a couple of other partially upgraded artifacts for Time on site (Apr '24), Steam quests (Sep '23 & Aug '24), Discord polls (Jan '24) and Marketplace discount (Jun '24) that I am switching depending on the situation.
I am currently making 2500+ ARP per month by doing basically everything that gives ARP and using the appropiate artifacts if possible.
I have two complete sets (First Contact & Zorathian Resistance) but I never use a whole set at once, since it would lower my overall APR output. Sets are only useful if you don't want to switch artifacts around all the time and are ok with less ARP in favor of convenience.

You're talking about The Stanley Excavation. The emphasis is on "it looks". Like I said: it's only really useful if you don't want to switch around artifacts and are ok with getting less ARP for convenience's sake.
The missing artifact for the set (H`erkow Fertility Robes) actually doesn't add anything ARP wise itself, it only allows you to change your forum username color. And the set bonus gives +5 to Steam quests and -15% marketplace cost.
When swapping in Sylphin Fission Blade and Pn 295 Unstable Battery instead, one can get from +3 (without any upgrades) up to +27 (both max. upgraded) to Steam quests. You only do Steam quests once a week, so the rest of the time, the set wouldn't do anything in this regard.
And when swapping in a fully upgraded Light Warping, one can get the same -15% marketplace cost reduction. You usually only buy in the marketplace once or twice per month. Once in the Game Vault and once, when new artifacts and/or fragments are being offered. The rest of the time, the set wouldn't do anything in this regard. If you don't own Light Warping or are lacking the fragments to upgrade, the set might be a temporarily useful alternative. Other than that it is inferior in this regard because it requires all 3 artifacts to work, so Light Warping allows for more flexibility.
MeguminShiro has also written up an extended meta build guide in the AWA discord, if you want to check the numbers. The Stanley Excavation set as a whole and specifically the H`erkow Fertility Robes are not part of any of those meta builds, only Chai Stones and PN295 are. And the Zorathian Resistance set is only part of a beginner's meta build.
The only artifact I am really missing, is the H'erkow Plasma Chamber, which was only given away randomly in low numbers a couple of times (and sold for 50.000 ARP once) so far. That one would definitely make a difference with its up to +25% on all ARP. It's not part of a set though.

Yeah, in an ideal scenario where you maxed out every artifact this set is useless. However, in reality things are different as leveling is really slow and you need to prioritize best artifacts to maximize your ARP. The point is: the artifacts which are better alternative to this set shouldn't be your priority for leveling. You want to max out artifacts for Twitch, daily calendar and time on site first, as well as better Steam quest artifact. As long as better alternatives are not leveled enough I don't see the reason not to use this set while doing Steam quests or buying stuff.

The Stanley Excavation set is not part of the meta builds because those are about maximizing your ARP earning while the set's main benefit is the marketplace discount. And it's a very significant benefit.
Light Warping was never purchasable or a guaranteed drop in an event afaik (though I'm not sure about the discord drops but I'm guessing those were chance based, too). So I think the majority of AWA users don't have it. I've been active daily on AWA since well before the Artifact system started and I don't own it. For everyone not owning Light Warping I'd highly advise buying the Herkow Robes if they return to the marketplace. The other two artifacts in the set are very useful in their own right and if the Robes cost 1000 ARP investing in them pays for itself in like 3 months which is fantastic compared to most other artifacts. And as the artifact is not useful in itself and last time was a free calendar drop I expect it to be even cheaper.
And even in case you own the Light Warping artifact the Stanley Excavation set can still be useful for a very long time as it allows you to prioritize maxing out other artifacts first. Accumulating fragments is slow and Light Warping needs 57 of them to match the set. I think I bought / earned every guaranteed fragment and so far I had enough to max out 4 artifacts, right now I'm a bit short to max out a 5th. If you have the set you can max out Pn295, Chai Stones, Ba'li Arches, Pn 295 Unstable Battery and maybe some more first. The +5 Steam quest bonus is also useful as long as you don't have enough fragments to max out both Pn 295 Unstable Battery and Sylphin Fission Blade. I didn't even buy the latter because of the set. Compared to a maxed out Blade I lose 2x7 ARP weekly.. As it cost 900 ARP it would have taken that artifact~ 15 months to earn its cost back and start turning a profit. And on top I saved 57 fragments with this move which I could use to upgrade better artifacts first.
Switching to the set is also not really cumbersome / doesn't really hurt your flexibility. You only have to switch to the Robes for 24h once per month. Chai Stones most have equipped all the time and Pn 295 Unstable Battery is used by many weekly anyhow.
My advice to everyone not owning Light Warping or owning it but not swimming in tons of fragments is to complete the Stanley Excavation set if given the opportunity. For newer users that bought the other two artifacts in the set (available in August and right now on the marketplace) it's really a no brainer to buy the Robes if they return.

Even if they did now, I probably wouldn't use them anymore, because they wouldn't fit my swapping routine and I am not too far off with my Light Warping anyways. And: yes, having to swap in just one artifact is more flexible than having to swap in two, which would be the case for me.
So I personally don't use any of the set bonusses and I personally consider them useless because for me they are. This is my personal experience. Is that ok? Can I now continue doing that or is there anyone else having objections? Thank you. Good night.

I don't know why you are so irritated about this discussion. You made comments that could discourage other users from completing the Stanley Excavation set so I made a response outlining its usefulness for the majority of users. Why is that a problem? Also my response factored in your first reply to the topic as well. You made a comment about sets' usefulness there that's true for the other sets but not this one. And when somebody pointed that out you doubled down on it:

Which is simply not true, in fact the situation is the exact opposite. The Stanley set is terrible if you don't want to switch around artifacts. But it's really useful if you are willing to. It shines once per month. (And is an acceptable cheap alternative for Steam quests once per week.)
You are in a special situation because you own an artifact that was never freely accessible and you also just missed out on the Stanley set when it was available the first time around. If you had both the set and the artifact or neither your outlook would be completely different. As someone who owns the Stanley set if I owned Light Warping it would not make sense for me to upgrade it for another few months before I finished with other artifacts with a better ROI. And I have been meticolously collecting fragments from the start. So yeah, the set is useful only temporarily, but that 'temporarily' is something like 1.5-2 years which feels like forever for a point collecting / giveaway scheme like this that's not guaranteed to run forever or at least not change significantly in unexpected ways down the line.
Seeing that two of the artifacts of the Stanley excavation set have been on offer in August and October respectively there is a very good chance for the Robes to reappear in the close future. I'm just commenting to make sure people don't pass up on it because it's not part of some meta builds or because using whole sets lowers ARP output or similar arguments when in fact for most users it's a great investment that very quickly pays for itself.
Also your gold Light Warping is only 8% discount. You'd use the Robes and the full Stanley Excavation set on Game Vault opening day if you had them. Your monthly earned ARP would stretch about 200 ARP points further in the game vault with the set than with Light Warping. That's surely worth disturbing your swapping routine for 24 hours a month.

Pretty much true but if it stops even a few of the people who tanked adventure choices (or even entire adventures) by innocently/maliciously piling on the option for highest possible ARP reward regardless of the needed dice roll then I'm ok with that. Though of course there are always going to be people who just want to pick the worst possible option anyway. Who can forget the "Cartire PC" adventure where numerous people extolled the idea of picking the most disastrous option just so the main character would meet a grisly fate. ☹️
I know it wouldn't make me popular but I've been using the null option a fair bit, it's been a bad month for me and I just haven't been keeping up with the adventure. You can either change email for Discord or AWA to make them both same, once linked you can change your email back to what it was before.

Yep, someone was having that issue when AWA introduced it, so I just live tested to them changing my email to match AWA/Discord, once linked and changed email back to original again.
Nothing broken/not workign since then and no longer asks to re-verification.
The only downside... probably is just to confirm email confirmation on the email you are using twice 😅

If you only have a couple of easily to replace games on your account the risk might be manageable. Steam/Valve took a firmer stance on region hopping due to developer/publisher complaints. In case you have an extensive Steam library it's not worth jeopardizing it for an AWA event giving you some ARP.

It's just the base game, free to keep forever but will be F2P after the early access anyways. It has been reduced to 0CV because otherwise it would falsely give CV for the $30 Founder's Edition.
