What do I do if the winner does not give me credit for giving the game I sent?

Also, this was my first giveaway. So this sucks. :(

If he's really fake then all you can do is wait those 7 days, to make sure he will not change anything about what happened, mark as Not Received, and report him.

Oh, I read completely wrong.
What he described happened to me once too, I just contacted admins, without actually reporting the person and they sorted it out.

He put up two Magicka: Nippon DLC and two people won.
But those two never got their DLC. :/

If it's the key from a bundle you can activate the key for yourself or give it to another one to make it useless

What should that person say to support? "I've won a key and I traded it but the key doesn't work"?

Just redeem the key the support will believe you more than him.

You can send the support a photo of the email with the key to prove it

Tip: ALWAYS send your key/gift by e-mail. This way, you have evidence you gave him the game.

I sent it by email, but I had to add him on Steam to make sure he got the mail!

At that point, I thought he activated and gave me credit.

Calm down.
Well, according to the rules, you have to wait 7 days. If nothing happens, contact support, explain everything and provide evidence you gave him the key. The admin will mark it as received for you and ban this motherfucker (so he can't change back to "not received"). You can also report this guy for not activating the game he won, but still, you have to wait 7 days :/
