It is forbidden to call out, you may get banned for this. Should delete the links.

Btw don't hold your breath reporting this scammer to SG, I reported one with a ticket that contained 100% proof screenshots and after 5 months it's still pending ... I can't but wonder how many other SG users have fallen prey to this serial scammer (atleast 5 other SG users I know of for sure).

And then I see a thread like this with some " forbidden to call out zealots " that are " backseat moderating " without being mods.. . But I guess they find petty rules more interesting and valuable than reporting and warning against scammers...

If I see something like OP with a clear information/screenshot I can blacklist and block this scammer on SG and Steam very quickly instead of waiting for God knows how long on a pending ticket with a high chance that the scammer makes or tries to make; during the pending time; other or new victims.

So I thank the OP for the swift scammer warning.

Thank you OP!

Those people are just trying to help OP avoid a ban. They're just watching out for him; none of them are disrespectful in this thread. But yeah, I don't like scammers either.

I appreciate the warning and the heads-up! Scammers come out from the same gene pool like parasites...

Maybe this "scammer" just didn't trust you enough to go first. I wouldn't send you (0/0 trade feedback) a $20 code under any circumstances.

Yeah if that was the case i wouldn't bother posting here, that person on the screenshot was an impersonator of someone else with a good rep on steamgifts with a steam level of 60 while the one i'm talking to is level 4.

Before he deleted me, i gave him a steam profile link of the person he was impersonating, thats why he deleted me.

you could write that scammer name or just chat log in your steam page
i see some people did that, and those arent breaking anyone rules
being wary is better, even my report (with no result so far, in steamrep) are actually helps someone

ive been scammed myself, not losing much though
and the oddest thing is ,he add me back and says sorry (i havent addd him back)
btw he is also tradebanned now lol (whats a tradeban?)

Good idea, i shall post it on my steam profile!
I think tradeban means he can't do any trade with anyone else.
