I feel very bad for all the devs that published there and aren't getting paid, i really do. That's worse than piracy.

Just pointing this out because I haven't seen anyone else mention it.
Bankruptcy doesn't necessarily mean going out of business. It grants protection from their debtors while they reorganize and attempt to pay the debtors off. It might end up with assets / portions of the company being sold off to satisfy debtors, and maybe they can recover without that. Profitable subsidiary corporations can end up barely affected at all, other than who owns them.
I once worked for a corporation whose parent corporation went bankrupt, and all the subsidiaries became property of a banking group. Our corporation was mostly unaffected because it was profitable and paying its portion of the debt. It's still in business today, 10 years after the bankruptcy of its parent corporation.

I'm not sure what I redeemed from Desura already on my account or if I have any unused keys from games i got elsewhere before Desura, so here's everything I'm unsure of.

Sorry about that, once you start getting different site bundles it's hard to keep track of what came from where.
It really does suck for the devs, hopefully whoever buys Desura will go through the logs and pay the devs what they're owed, but the US legal system has a way of making debts disappear if it's convenient for a company. I think at this point most people know not to buy from Desura for the time being, but I'd bet some indies are owed for months of purchases.

Thank you, I took a look at my collection and found out I had around ten Steam keys. Sweet!

Anyone got an idea what might be up with these keys? Just curious.
Dream Pinball 3d - YJG6-KSEJ-RLNX-RXYB
Planets under attack - VL4A-CLV8-XH6P-6WQ2
3switched - G4KJ-CMTZ-FS72-LJMD
Xblades - FSUG-FP3K-SUE9-MDBW
Desura knows what games they are and says they can't be redeemed. Finally activating all my old keys know to look for Steam keys - got about 16 so far.

Thanks, never knew Desura keys could expire.
No idea where they came from, but I don't see reason why I'd have done anything that would have caused them to be revoked, perhaps the bundle site did. Looks like they came from the same bundle as they're all in a format that is slightly unusual for Desura.

A quick search says yes. Heard that some devs were removing games from there, those ones still seem to be up.
Doesn't really matter I suppose.

Something that I find particularly curious about the matter is that if you dig around a little bit you can see a few complaints from developers regarding payments dating back to summer '14, which would have been before Linden Labs sold Desura off. The people didn't really start raising their voices on the matter until after the transition, likely then assuming that the new company could set things straight. What I wonder though is what we're not seeing and why those matters were not settled before the company was handed over. Something seems amiss.

Here is to downloading 1200 (lots of those free games though) or so >.<.
Tip if there isn't a seperate download file, install from the client, then most of the time you can just copy and rar the installed map, as long as the game isn't attached to the Windows Register it will work.
If you want to put your games neatly into seperate folders and you don't want to make x folders and you have a gamelist in Excel use this to automatically make folders http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2007-excel/create-multiple-folders-from-excel-list/94c184d7-c069-e011-8dfc-68b599b31bf5 .

Been following this personally for a while, but as in the title, they've declared bankruptcy. This all started with them having issues with paying developers, which was put down to a number of factors, including the hospitalisation of their CEO.
More recently than this, Graeme Boxall @uncomplex, an employee who dealt with IndieRoyale was discussing how he may be out of a job.. After elaborating that he wasn't fired from his position, and was waiting for an announcement in regards to Indieroyale and Bad JuJu, he finally confirmed the situation here.
Unfortunately, we don't know what will happen to Indieroyale, Desura, or even the developers who are yet to be paid as of yet. This is because Badjuju as a whole is staying pretty tight-lipped on the whole thing, it seems. Hopefully, everything gets resolved somehow.
