I don't do it, but if I did, they would be: Visual Novel, Sexual Content, 4X, Strategy, RTS, Building and Something Manager.

I don't think there are too many that I instantly hide, but zombie, clicker, online (it's going to die someday; I'd rather not get involved), and VR are big ones. I almost want to say hidden object, but I did find a few offbeat ones like Under Leaves and Hidden Folks that look neat. A big problem is that tags on Steam aren't always that reliable; I've seen a few on so many things that don't make the least bit of sense that my brain trained itself to ignore the tags altogether. Some of them feel like they shouldn't even exist, like great soundtrack.

There are also some that I wouldn't buy, but don't mind being able to try them for free, namely Early Access.
