Nonograms are back!

In this multi-stage puzzle you'll have to:

  1. Find a country name in a given string.
  2. Eight remaining characters will give you an ITH link: http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/xxxxxxx.
  3. Solve the nonogram to get five characters for a giveaway link: http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/xxxxx/.
  4. Recognize a country from the nonogram to get a string to the next stage.

After six stages you'll have to sort out your answers and use some puzzle solving skills to answer final three questions.

Good luck!

First string is:
FFBIJMNLO7ANQFD

Edit: Fifth nonogram is fixed now (some numbers were missing).
Edit2: Fifth nonogram fixed again (corrected the ga code - first letter should be upper-case).

Hint: If you're stuck at the final three questions, try googling what you have and haven't already used. Good way to start is Q3, cause it's sometimes better to do things backwards. Also, read comments in the thread, there are many hints there.

Giveaway has ended. Solution is posted below

I don't think you need to solve them again, if you remember the numbers from the pictures and which nono pictured which country...

OK, I have 2 sets of 6 letters and 6 numbers (which are not unique)
It seems, I should use one set for Q1 and one for Q3, right?

Yes, but for Q1 you need something more, not just the numbers.

Try starting form Q3, cause sometimes it's good to look at things backwards.

okay, me too stuck in the final stage.
i have 5 numbers for sure, and +1 if the nonogram is tricky.
i just really dont know what to do with them, i think i need to use the countries as well 😀

the 2nd Q is so clear, but it's not good 😭, maybe i am colorblind or what?

The nonogram is not tricky, maybe you did something wrong? You should have 6 numbers.
Your thinking is right, try reading other comments, maybe it will come to you.

Here's the solution:

Stage 1:

String Country ITH code
FFBIJMNLO7ANQFD FINLAND FBJMO7QF
Chart color Country Number Code Letter
Indigo Poland 1 0CWkS w

Stage 2:

String Country ITH code
LATTVV9IHGNZNA LATVIA TV9HGNZN
Chart color Country Number Code Letter
Blue Monaco 6 ra5F8 o

Stage 3:

String Country ITH code
2XCSS2HJQPAIN SPAIN 2XCS2HJQ
Chart color Country Number Code Letter
Violet France 6 DeFIQ b

Stage 4:

String Country ITH code
ROT3MANTG1IAAWN ROMANIA T3TG1AWN
Chart color Country Number Code Letter
Green Norway 3 Bn3wu n

Stage 5:

String Country ITH code
ZLICZET9RLA5QND ICELAND ZLZT9R5Q
Chart color Country Number Code Letter
Red Denmark 2 JQ6O0 i

Stage 6:

String Country ITH code
GGREEBNCCYKHEG GREECE GBNCYKHG
Chart color Country Number Code Letter
Orange Ukraine 1 g09aO a

Final stage:

String Country ITH code
YKITLIIAAKLLY ITALY YKLIIAKI

Now comes the tricky part:

Each nonogram contained:

  1. A country outline, at each stage you were asked about a country name.
  2. A SG giveaway code. Each giveaway contained one letter
  3. A number (lets call it n).

Each nonogram chart was drawn in a different color (which was also indicated by putting first lertter of the color in each ITH page) . If you sort them out by position in a rainbow or by a wave length, you should get:

  1. Red (Denmark, n=2)
  2. Orange (Ukraine, n=2)
  3. Green (Norway, n=3)
  4. Blue (Monaco, n=6)
  5. Indigo (Poland, n=1)
  6. Violet (France, n=6)

Take n-th letter from the corresponding country name to get: EUROPE. This was the 6-letter the password for Q1.

There was one color from the rainbow that was missing: yellow. This was the answer to Q2.

The letters from the giveaways were: w o b n i a, which is backwards for rainbow with the letter R missing. This was the answer to Q3.

Here's the final solution: http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/ykLIIAKi/3DEvMyQh

Hope you enjoyed the puzzle :)
