Better than Game of Thrones??? What madness is this? Are you afflicted with the consumption?
Actually I can believe it. The last few seasons of GoT were pretty bad. Seasons 1-4 were great then it started going downhill. Lot of people have been raving about Last Kingdom. I'll probably take a look see.

The first four or so seasons were good but went downhill quickly once they ran out of book to base it on. I like fantasy a lot but surprisingly it ruined a lot of the tension of that show for me, especially the dragons. They are such powerful unstoppable forces if they were used correctly the show would be over in two episodes. It's very unbelievable that such powerful weapons would just be put on the sidelines and hardly used, and makes the characters with them on their side look incredibly stupid.

I watched a couple seasons of this and its pretty good. I'd say its comparable to the show Vikings but "better than GoT" (excluding those later seasons...) would be a stretch in my opinion. TLK is definitely worth checking out if you liked either of those.

Historical drama about the Saxon and Viking conflict. Great writing, excellent characters, interesting story line, lots of drama, plotting, betrayal, action, tension, great pacing, very emotional moments. This is a top notch series. It's honestly better than Game of Thrones in my opinion. Can't believe this isn't promoted more or talked about more. Definitely something to binge watch all 4 seasons.
