Best thing and nicest thing to do is to work it out with the Giveaway Creator. Sometime GA Creator didn't know about it been restricted key or forgotten about it. Contact him/her via in the giveaway you won in or add him on Steam then chat with him/her.

same thing happened to me once. I returned the gift, creator apologized to me and asked support to delete GA (I was in a good mood so I agreed).
