It's nearly impossibile to find a past thread...can't you just link or explain the rules?

No rules, OTHER than the ones stated above. The old giveaway just contains hints to solve this since they both use almost exactly the same method of coding. The thread is 3-4 days old and is closed.
Anyway, good night for now. I will post more hints tomorrow. Currently 4 entries.

HINT 1: The first image is a QrCode
Hint 2: The resulting numbers were encoded in a Base (Insert number here) format.

If you can count from 1 to 10 and know what binary is. I can tell you that you have more than sufficient knowledge.
However, if you can't, I will just ask you to leave this for the older kids.

Thanks Monukai. That means a lot coming from you. :)

I dont normally release names of the games, because I find it fun to solve or have a crack at the unknown.
The end time is a good suggestion. I will incorporate it in the future.

I thought I was on the right track to solving, but ran head first into a brick wall. I've gotta be over-thinking this...but I've tried multiple methods already. I don't even care about the giveaway anymore, just need to figure this out. And it's only a 3/10...
edit: thanks to the hints I was able to solve it right away, though not before spending at least a hour learning the ins and outs of base encoding/decoding for 2-64. Already have the game, but gained a bit of knowledge lol. thanks for the giveaway, look forward to your next giveaway scheme. :)

Hint 2#: The Qr Code result was encoded in Base 16. Decode it, and you will find another set of characters which again needs to be decoded using another Base [Insert number here]
Hint 3: You are one step away. :)

Guess, it is too much hints. Next time, it won't happen.
