Happy birthday, man! I'm 20 in a few days. Planning a small 4-5 person party. :P
Anyhow, what is this Definitive edition ? I have Riptide and the original DI, but what do I get by buying it? Somewhere it says it's a remastered version and I guess I get the retro thing too? Steam store is showing me 2 prices. 3€ for the definitive edition and 11€ for the bundle which contains the DI, DI Riptide and the new retro game.

Yeah Definitive edition is the Remastered versions. Remastered means perfected remake. They basically did a whole make-over of the old game but it's still the same story and gameplay with an upgrade. Definitely fixed the issues the old version had.

So, I should get the Definitive Edition then? I bought the entire Dead Island batch a while back, and the one I have is the GOTY version. I just want to be 100% sure that this is a version that I don't already have.

And I have one more question. Since I have the Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide games (but not the Definitive Edition ones), am I permitted to enter this giveaway? I will put an entry in, but if you say that I am not allowed to then I will remove it before the end of the giveaway.:)

You're allowed to enter. The "Definitive Edition" for Dead Island is just like Remastered Edition for Final Fantasy (http://store.steampowered.com/app/359870/). They basically perfect an old version of the game but its still the same gameplay. The Definitive Editions are not even released yet so you don't have it don't worry.
