Giveaway Group for Vets/ Active duty?

So I personally am going to be shipping out here shortly to begin my active duty military career. I was wondering if anyone knows a group for vets/ active duty or maybe wants to start one think it would be really awesome to see.

I think it would be a good idea if it could be set-up and run correctly but I just think it would be abused. I would imagine a bunch of people joining who just lie about their military status. If the group required proof to be shown by pictures or w/e then that might scare people away from joining because they might feel that their privacy was being invaded. Just some of my thoughts. Good luck
