you will also find, that Borderlands, and borderlands GOTY are also the same. and yet if you buy the DLC seperately, it's over double the price.

I remember in my region at one point the Borderlands GOTY edition was cheaper than the default Borderlands. I believe there was also no sale on at the time.

GOTY was previously $7.50, with the normal $5. You're complaining about an extra discount on a discounted game that is, by the way, bloody awesome?

Go to the PC game shelf in a Walmart. Fallout 3 is $20, and Oblivion is $20. Now find the Fallout 3 and Oblivion box set. Guess how much it costs? Also $20.

Not a ripoff, a great deal. Though there are retards who don't read before buying.

I waited until summer sales to find that the DLC is at the same price than the Ultimate edition. That's a ripoff, they could have made a DLC pack for $5 at least.

Did you actually buy the standard edition or just angry at the idea of such a business practice.. Shame on you steam, you ripped this guy off, whether any money changed places is unknown but he wants a memory refund.. Just total recall the images of goty / standard edition = identical price out of his memory bank so he can add the vegas goty edition to his cart w/ peace of mind, able to check out and download it as if none of this ever happened.

I've had a retail store sell Driv3r for 10€ and Driver: Parallel lines for 15€, I got a collection containing both for 10€. Just because there has been a typo or a mishap somewhere doesn't automatically make it a ripoff.

You just gotta look around a bit before you buy, not for incase you are being ripped off, but to see if there's a better deal available. :)

Way to look at the glass as half empty. Maybe instead of the base game being just as expensive as the GOTY version, they made the GOTY version just as cheap as the base game? ;)

In my store there's only the GOTY version.
