I should go
Jennifer Hale really knows how to nail the 'Strong Commander' voice, and she also kills it as the female trooper in SWTOR.

Her voice acting in the first game was much better, but I have to say, you could hear Mark Meer getting better with every game. By the third game I feel like they were definitely on the same level, and I even prefered his voice acting at many points!

The shows Karim worked with were all very good. That gives me hope with this.
If only Drew Karpyshyn was available to write the adaptation.

That made me google a bit and I found he now works on Exodus. I did see the trailer and thought "huh that looks nice".
But now when I know lead of KOTOR and ME 1/2 writer works on it I"m more interested :D It means he surely does not have time for TV shows though.

"You should have gone"
from the SuperiorMod position a long time ago.

As long as you stop sabotaging the site with both your incompetence and prejudice, then stay all you want.
Oh wait, you cannot do that anymore. The worst you can do now are unfunny memes and reporting. Welcome back to reality.

You go to a thread of person you clearly don't like, only to add off-topic and negativity. That is only on you, not me. And you write it like I was punished for something, not decided to step down myself to focus on real life. You need a reality check, not me.
Thought judging from your off-topic comments so far I see you will do nothing but throw shit. I will make more threads in the future, you are free to ignore and hide them 🤠

The two can mutually exist and have for years in your case.
I for one as well as many other silent users (they say so in other forums) are happy you can no longer abuse your former position.
Your unfunny memes and offtopic thread won't change your chequered past and horrible history as a mod.
They will always act as a reminder of the failed mod you have been. You giving up and leaving doesn't magically change your incompetence into something less bad.
Whether I ignore or not is none of your business, 'fellow' user.

Haha just seeing one name alone is enough to label this as utter garbage in the making. I mean, that usually shouldn't be the case, but we're talking about Avi Arad after all

To be fair, sometimes there are decent (or good even) movies/series with him involved, so there's still some hope left, it's just that he has a really bizarre talent to turn something into utter shit most of the time. And I don't really want one of my all-time favorite trilogies having the same treatment as Borderlands.
Honestly I'd be way more optimistic if the team behind Expanse series were the ones making ME series.

True. His resume only makes me wonder how he didn't manage to ruin the first Iron Man movie too. And Ghost in the Shell wasn't too bad either. The rest ...
But it could be worse, after all Amazon somehow managed not to hire Alex Kurtzman. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

He didn't do much good for comics or game adaptations, that's for sure. Screwing up Morbius was not hard but managing to screw up Borderlands and Uncharted... that guy has the anti-Midas touch. Not even going to mention Ghost in the Shell.
The only project he touched that didn't turn to crap was the Spiderverse movies and I'm pretty sure it's only because other producers with more talent were on it.

No matter how good or not the show is, it's bound to be a shit show. I don't think they can rise to the level of the game's writing (although The Last of Us proved me wrong so maybe) but even if they do, there'll be masses of haters nitpicking on every single thing because it's not the Mass Effect they would have made for themselves.
On the other hand, tv and movies live from the hype and nobody cares whether social mentions are positive or negative so I'm not surprised they pick a game that will most likely get everyone pissed off months before we even see a trailer. Trolling is the new hype and when publicly traded media companies add "most tweeted show in 2025" to a quarterly report, nobody in the room cares whether it's fans saying positive things or morons triggered by pronouns...

It didn't really work for Borderlands though, fans were disappointed and general public do not know the brand "Borderlands", like they know "Marvel" or "Pixar" to go to the cinema just out of habit. It works when the movie is bad and people still go to watch it. Otherwise "any publicity is good publicity" argument don't really work.
The Numbers reported that in total, Borderlands made $15.4 million in domestic ticket sales and nearly $15.5 million internationally for a worldwide box office tally of $30.9 million.
According to Variety, Borderlands—which was distributed by Lionsgate—had a production budget of $115 million and had a marketing and distribution budget of $30 million.

But the thing is box-office is not really where movie studios make money. Not anymore anyway.
They make money off the hype that goes on for months before anything actually drops and people get a chance to be disappointed and it gets torn down on social etc. The hype, positive or negative, is what goes in quarterly reports in their media packet.
That's why everything is remake, reboots, prequels, sequels and adaptation and franchises now.
They know that it's going to generate buzz, fill column inches and get fandoms talking. And "fans" talk even more when they are unhappy.

More than that. Studios only make a fraction of that money. Movie theaters are also taking their share. It's a losing business.
They're not counting on the hype so that the movie will sell to the audience. They are counting on the hype so that the studio will sell to its shareholders. And once movies are box office failure, they are counting on one of two things: people not caring OR people already chasing the next hype.

This year N7 Day's update: Amazon, after the success of Fallout series, started to work on ME TV series. There were hints of it back in 2021, and there are not many leads on how it will look now. Just the main people involved in the production.
For me - the best would be for them to pick some "neutral" protagonist, just like with Fallout. ME was game about choices, so there is no one cannon. Like for me [spoiler] Kaidan always dies, as he always has a migraine when I want to have a quick chat, and his "chat animation start" is too long 😂 Otherwise, half of the internet will be on fire, why have they chosen male/female shep as a default option? Mass Effect board game is already bombarded with negative reviews, before release, because they put "she" on Liara's card. Or Legion is missing. 😅
