i suppose i should also list others that are already finished:

firefly(1 season and a movie called serenity)
lost (5.5 seasons and a really rushed ending)
merlin (i think its 5 seasons)
torchwood (doctor who spinoff with 4 seasons and unlikely to continue)
the defenders (a great show about two vegas lawyers starring jim belushi, but got cancelled after 1 season)
