Didn't expect this to get free o_o

I'm not fond of strategy games, but since I played Total Annihilation (best ballistics in an RTS game I've seen to date) a lot back in the days, I was super hyped.
I bought this a couple years ago when it wasn't on Steam yet, payed 29$ (luckily about 21€ at the time) for it, tried it on my old pc but it didn't run. When it came on Steam, I started seeing mixed reviews (and very disappointed ones). Last summer I got a new pc, tried the game, it was nothing special. The scale is so massive that you need more time navigating the planet(s) to find your units than actually giving orders, graphics are too simple, units have no particular appeal, music is not as good as old Total Annihilation.
After a couple of days they announced Titans, that would have been a separate game, and even with the coupon I refused to give them any more money and deleted the game from my pc.
When they sold it for 1$ on Bundle Stars, I regretted so much buying it early. Now it can be had for free and I regret even more.
Never preorder a game, guys!

To anyone else who grabbed a free key, no hurry to play it, as all copies of PA are broken at this moment, none of them boot past the title screen. The devs said they are working on the issue.
