So I bought a 4-pack for this and made a GA for for friends the other day, and noticed that the game is on the bundle list. Now while I certainly won't mind some extra CV, the main point of the giveaway was to celebrate something so I didn't mind and made the GA anyways.

I'm wondering though, I couldn't find the game in any bundle list, and it doesn't look like the game had a price error or anything before. It does get a 75% off discount and is available on a 4-pack, but there's lots of other games with similar situation and they don't seem to end up in the bundle list. Is there anything I'm missing here?

Oh, I totally missed that. I searched isthereanydeal but I think I forgot to tick some of the checkboxes. Thanks!

But on that note, I seem to remember that if you're giving away a bought copy instead of a bundle, you can get a full CV by sending a ticket to support with screenshots. Do I remember correctly? xD

Enhanced Steam is the way to go. That will tell you at a glance how many times a game has been bundled, amongst other useful things :)

Support are run off their feet dealing with serious tickets, so I can't imagine this would be encouraged. Besides, what's to stop people photoshopping "receipts" to exploit CV? Better to cut them a break and move on :)

I've never seen any proof or confirmation by Support that it is done, so I assume some fool started a rumour to make life hard for Support after they got suspended for a few days.

Once a game is labeled as "bundle game" here, its value won't be added to your CV no matter what you do (except for a few cents if you make a giveaway for a non-bundle game later. See the FAQ for more info about that). A list of "bundled" games is found here: http://www.steamgifts.com/bundles/list

As for Enhanced Steam, it's an excellent plugin for Firefox and Chrome that adds useful information and more options to the Steam website. I've been using it for at least a year now, and it's highly recommended and totally safe: http://www.enhancedsteam.com

Thanks for the confirmations guys.

Guess I'll just let it go. It's a bit of a shame since it would've almost doubled my CV, but oh well. Wasn't giving for the CV in the first place anyways.

Wasn't a game marked as bundled just if it was in a 1$ bundle OR that cuts the game price to -95% off or so?

Yeah it was twice in a bundle but if you divide the bundle price properly, it was not less than -80% (like $2 at max). Then I don't consider it as a bundle game.
