Hi there,

last week was my 30th birthday and I wanted to make a couple of puzzle giveaways. I didn't make them in time as I was far from home, but now I found the time to make them.

I'll tell you something about myself. I am a PhD student at a university in Barcelona, where I do research focused on distributed databases. I grew up playing the sega mega drive (genesis), and my favorite game was Shining Force II, but I also spent a great deal of time playing Kid Chameleon and Gunstar Heroes. Later I got a PSX and mostly played Gran Turismo 2 and Final Fantasy VII. I also played The Secret of Monkey Island, UFO: Enemy Unknown, Transport Tycoon and Leisure Suit Larry with the PC.

I don't know if there's been something like this done here before, so I didn't overcomplicate them. Giveaways end on Monday 21st. If days pass with no entries I'll give some hints.

Edit: Oscar solved both puzzles pretty fast so they're doable :)

Edit 2: Only around 24 hours for the giveaways to finish, the first one has 16 entries and the second one only 1 entry. More people solved them but didn't enter. They are not so difficult! :)
