Finally someone tried to scam me <3

I've always been waiting for someone who would eventually attempt to scam me since I really really want to mess with the scammers. Well, today someone made a phishing attempt on me. However, he/she didn't respond sadface.
Anyway, I got his/her gluteus maximus reported on steamrep now.

And, as I promised him/her that it will be published:

I find it funny everyone behaves like a god and feels invincible when he/she uncloaks a phishing attempt. I mean, these attempts are bound to be primitive because they are made hundreds of times simultaneously and reporting them has almost no effect since it's part of their plan. This applies to every regular phishing, not only on Steam

Just like you said. Suspended. There is no reason for such threads to begin with, but when you start to post screenshots with unedited links and their steam ID... Don't be surprised to see red banner one day.

I was suspended, sweetie. I surfed around and suddenly I was suspended. I couldn't access the forums. I couldn't edit this post. I am, however, extremely disappoint at the way the support works here. Suspending me for SPREADING DANGER TO THE PUBLIC and not even DOING ANYTHING to stop that danger. Also NOT READING MY UUUURRRGEEEENNNNTTTT support request.

I find that a lot of the suspensions on this site are given to active and friendly members of the community. A lot of these are unnecessary and are dished out by trigger-happy and jobsworth mods that could give you a slap on the wrist and a friendly reminder. Sure, these things break the rules but who really reads all the bullshit small print? Sorry for the rant..

I feel like suspensions and bans should be a last resort for people that are actively trying to abuse or mess with the system. In this example you might have broken the rules, but it wasn't malicious or with bad intent. Four days? Really?

Aus irgendeinem Grund tun das viele aber ich kann das wirklich nicht nachvollziehen. Für mich klingen englische Filme absolut fade, langweilig und emotionslos. Die deutschen Tonspuren sind meistens mit mehr Emotion. Ich bin jedesmal absolut enttäuscht wenn ich in deutschen Tonspuren die witzigste Szene überhaupt sehe, ich diese dann im Internet nur auf englisch finde und danach höchst enttäuscht bin.

Ich sehe das nicht so. Ich persönlich find die Witze auf deutsch sogar lustiger. Ohne Scheiß.
Nehmen wir zum Beispiel Snatch - Schweine und Diamanten. Solche Zitate wie "Weg mit der Kanone, Schwabbel" findest du im Englischen nicht. Außerdem klingt Boris in der englischen Version so als würde er nur röcheln und man versteht fast nichts. Deutsch mit russischem Akzent dagegen ist das beste überhaupt.
Oder There Will Be Blood. "Stell dir vor, du hast einen Milchshake... und ich hab einen Milchshake. Und ich habe diesen Strohhalm, siehst du. Und dieser Strohhalm... geht durch den gaaaaaaaAAAAaaaaaanzen Raum... und trinkt deinen Milchshake. Ich! Trinke! Deinen! Milchshake! ICH TRINKE IHN AUS!"

On an entirely unrelated note, shouldn't the Japanese rendering of your name on your profile be メトークッス (with a small tsu)
instead of メトークシス (with a regular tsu) ? Right now, it reads 'Metōkutsusu'.

People commenting on how bad the scamming attempt was
Me being disappointed because the scammer was far from being talkative
Me getting suspended by Hichigo for putting up an uncensored link, then making my suspension longer because I was clearly realizing that it was dangerous.
Me being incredibly angry at Hichigo because I instantly filed an URGENT!!! support request where I put up a censored link. However, it was not read and the link was uncensored for the entire time.
