Solution to the puzzle:
All stages were some variations to the 15 Puzzle.

Stage 1 - green and orange
The answers were: 6 and 4. You'll find the solution in the image below.

Stage 2 - blue
This one was tricky, cause the answer to the given question was simply: No. This board is unsolvable, as stated here.

Stage 3 - red
This one was a bit tricky, cause solving it manually was very tedious. Solving it requires at least 80 moves, which is a maximum for the classic 15 puzzle. It's actually one of the 17 boards that require maximum number of moves, as stated here.

To be honest I didn't expect this puzzle to have this many solvers. I don't think the prizes were so great so i'll just assume the puzzle had a good difficulty level and it that was quite enjoyable. Thanks for participating and congrats to the winners.

Thanks again for creating that puzzle. was fun indeed.
I just realised i used the program from that page to solve the last puzzle - i maybe should have just read the whole page first....
