I got half-life before steam existed..I got rewarded with the Platinum Pack version when I activated it on steam

Why are people with no avatar allowed to bid on Steam?

Just make it a group giveaway and if you check my account you will not see half life one, but I got it before steam as well.
(it is on my other account) have the orange box on this account though.

I think Half-Life 1 is lil bit overrated.

I completely agree with the OP. In fact, if you don't have Half-Life, you shouldn't even be allowed to THINK about video games.

HL was great, but again, so was DOOM. In fact, RETAL was one of the best flight sims ever. And TETRIS rocked the world. But the fact remains... PONG was one of the first multiplayer games ever designed. While PACMAN was the king of the arcades.

My point: each game to its own time and niche of players.

I'd also get rid of CoD fans

Because not everyone wants to play Half Life. I thought it a great game, not everyone agrees.
