The vocalist and bass player are actually phenomenal singers. Their music is generally a healthy mix of singing and more aggressive shouting-screaming.

Here's a throwback if you're interested http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeFhQnEbDRw a bit of screaming leads the song off but then gives way to gorgeous melody.
