Hey SG members! I wanted a bit of help this holiday season.

Now I am really disappointed with this sale, but that doesn't mean I won't buy anything!

I was wondering- my friend has a shit laptop that he uses for everything, he doesn't have the cash for a better one.

I wanted to know if Castle Crashers would run well on a very bad computer, because he's very interested and if I buy 2 copies we can co-op together.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Depends how bad? Specs? It should work 1GB ram. And a direct x 9 video card should be ok. Check with him first.

Sorry, I can't give you specs because I really have no idea.

The only games it can run are The Binding of Isaac and Team Fortress 2, and even those lag pretty bad at the lowest settings.

It is completely incapable of running Borderlands.

It cost about $150-200.

How shitty is a shit laptop? One man's shit may be another man's fertilizer. The specs would help people be a better judge.

I think I will end up doing that, as he's really interested in it and he's a great friend to me.

Also I don't know his specs.

U can always play it later if he buys new computer, if your intention is to play together u should buy it nevertheless

Alright, you guys have convinced me. Even though I was probably going to do that anyway.

But I would like to warn him if it's likely to lag a lot.

Try Can You Run It?, and search for Castle Crashers in the dropdown menu.

Erm, won't that mostly work for me and not for him?

Just asking.

Either way, under no circumstances should you ever trust that website to tell you if you can run something.

Yeah, it told me I can't run BL1 or BL2, when I can run both just fine.
