You have to pass through the five circles of enlightenment, answering the challenger's riddles with the knowledge you've gleaned from the sacred texts. Finally, you stand at the center of mysteries and take the binding oath on pain of death. Having completed this arduous journey of spiritual awakening, you become a first-degree member whereupon there will be a pizza party.
