Here is the list
From the depths hard to learn at first but after learning it's extremly fun game.
Gmod best sandbox EVER(over 250h spent but there are people who got the achievement for spending a WHOLE FREAKING MONTH in the game.Menu and paused games don't count).
Europa universlis 4 very VERY good grand strategy.
East vs. West a hearts of iron game.Thought it was canceled officialy there's a self standing mod that's free and totaly awesome.
Hearts of iron 3 very good ww2 grand strategy game but very hard to learn.Seriously i have over 60h in this game and still don't know how the heck some things(Decryption,Encryption naval warfareetc. there's a lot of it) work.
Darkest Hour basicly longer HOI2 way easier to learn than HOI3.
Space engineers very good sandbox in space but survival mode IMO is crap.
Beat hazard.Just buy it if you listen to music.Really no word's can describe that masterpiece
.Planetary anihillation. If you enjoyed total anihillation or supreme commander series just buy it it's great game.
Terraria this game is FREAKING HUGE.Watch some gameplays from diffrent stages or tutorials to see what i mean.
Kinetic Void. It's got not the best revievs on steam and ridiclious price(i bought it on salle and recommend to do that youself) but is very good space sim.it lack's of some features but it's worth buying.
Planetside 2 thought it's somewhat mmofps it's not based on people you play with. This just doesen't matter when you can play with 2000 people on the server at once also its f2p and totally not p2w.
Wow that went waaaaayyyy bigger than i expected.

Binding of Isaac: Rebirth - Tons of replayability, items, secrets. I could see people finding this not so fun but it never stopped for me. Can't wait for the expansion.
Dreaming Sarah - Really short. I was surprised by this, it's fun but best to wait for it to be in a bundle.
Far Cry 3/Blood Dragon - I thought Blood Dragon was better of the two, definitely more fun unfortunately also shorter. Far Cry 3 does stop being fun and becomes really repetitive. For an open world game there isn't much variety and there's too much of the sameness.
Mass Effect 1/2/3 - I didn't play these till the beginning of the year, I only had 1&2 but I after them I immediately went and bought 3. I found the mako in 1 to not be fun. >:(
This War of Mine - Okay this isn't fun. It's actually really depressing but it's engrossing and addictive. I found myself really trying to keep all my people alive which is a kind of fun but in a emotionally distressing kind of way.
Gravity Ghost - At first this wasn't fun. The controls were awkward but as I progressed through each levels and unlocked more powers it was incredibly fun.
Transistor - It's fun but the slow pace of combat might stop people from having fun. If you can get a good set of skills up it's so good.
Artifex Mundi HOGs - I like these games okay. They're fun for me even if they aren't for anyone else. :3

Dreamfall: Chapters -- I blazed through the first two chapters in a day (but can't play the third because my connection is almost non-existent) and you'll want to play it. Especially if you finished Dreamfall: The Longest Journey.
Distance -- A survival platforming racing game. And it's fun as hell. Also it has Workshop support. (:
A City Sleeps -- A Bullet Hell SHMUP made by Harmonix. Don't forget to bring a controller.
Boson X -- An infinite runner game which is nice. Even TB liked it. (:

Mini Metro - simple but very enjoyable (and currently 30% off on Humble.)
The Blackwell Legacy - finally playing this series, and really enjoyed the characterisation. .
Bedlam (Christopher Brookmyre) - playing at the moment, and enjoying the humour and gaming nostalgia.
80 Days (Android, iOS) - thoughtful and story-rich re-imagining of the Verne story. Text-heavy. Loved it.
McPixel - Very silly, but amused me.
(Just enjoyed Never Alone which I won on SG, but experienced predictable struggles with single-player controls. Beautiful game/storytelling experience though.)

Basically I'm looking to see what games you/ye have played this year that you/ye found fun and why :) Even more basic - I'm bored.
Now the game that you will be talking about doesn't have to have came out this year & I would prefer if you talked about something that is available on PC (But I'll let you off if you mention more than one and at least one is on PC). I would also like to know if the game stops being fun after a short period of time - long.
PS: Not interested in MMO's as they are mostly based on the people you play with for proper enjoyment.
tl:dr - Press the 'X' image at the top right, red circle on a MAC & have a good day :)
