Witcher 3- The game redefines the rpg genre and goes to its root, even the sidequests quality is very high, I was doing this werewolf mission and it looked like a main mission for most AAA rpgs, 10/10 would play again.
Arkham Knight- ONLY if you played the previous 2 Arkham games, try this one. Perfect end to the trilogy and is darker than the previous 2 games, its broken on PC(third party dev port and delayed lel) 9.5/10
And the last game which I haven't played but it'll be Fallout 4

yup no lifed it, haven't had this much fun in ages xD, I used to pick nearly every game and nowdays I'm very picky and get bored from most games easily.
This year has been good for gaming, witcher 3, AK haven't only lived to the hype but exceeded it, I hope FO4 can do the same.

I haven't gotten around to playing any of the Witcher games (played the first one only briefly), but I really appreciate how the developers keep working to refine and add to the game after release. Most companies will just do some bug fixes, but all of the Witcher games have gotten major updates well after the game was released.

How can you say you had fun playing a game that you haven't played? o.0
Could be a load of crap when it comes out, you just don't know :P

Well, I'm a gamer all my life hence ^ point of view but yeh I can't say I'm 100% sure it'll be great & you might be right(might be crap) but there's a good chance Fallout 4 will be good from what I've seen.
Thing is good developers build trust over time and I trust bethesda, from the ES series(Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim) to Fallout 3, they were good games for their time in my opinion and I enjoyed those a lot(they aren't flawless, but yeh still pretty good)
& nice jest m8 but you know what I meant, "I haven't played the game but I'll have fun playing it"
Comment has been collapsed.
I know you meant but just remember doesn't mean it'll be fun either, I mean it would be the first time got screwed by devs(Sacred 3 being one of the big ones) and for myself wouldn't be the first time or even the 2nd time I got screwed by bethesda (Brink, TES:O - Yeah got the collectors edition of that one). I'm just saying that you can never be to careful :)

Um dude, Sacred was never a AAA title and TES Online was made by ZeniMax and published by bethesda(however since they're the publishers, they agreed to milking fans so to an extent you might be right in a sense that bethesda were being greedy, they didn't fuck up the quality because they didn't make it).
But yeh, only time will tell, I wish I could get the pipboy edition m8 xD.

Ah at least the app will be free, shame it won't work as well in real life as it does in the games... I'd be so fast at eating and changing my clothes xD

I do think the second ME is the best, couldn't really play the third one, because I played the fist mission and then decided to play multiplayer(aka. didn't go back to storyline lol)

Story Games>JRPGS>RPGS>Action(AAA)>Stratagy>EverythingElse
If games have a shitty story I'm likely to avoid the game like the black plague.
Personally I haven't enjoyed games since the PS2 era, because devs are making games graphics orientated instead of enjoyable and fun. There are exceptions though as JRPGS tend to have good storylines & maybe a select other few(Handful) since then I've found somewhat enjoyable. I'm a though critic and some of the games I hear that are vastly overrated I find are Skyrim & FF7.
Now if you don't ask me others will :P
Skyrim
1 - is 75% in map size compared to oblivion and has less that 50% of the missions than oblivion.
2 - Boring MQ line, who cares about dragons tbh it made less immersive than it's predecessors. "Shout and the dirt is gone"
3 - While more graphically appealing offers very little else in improvement and a few things are taken away.
4 - Made the other Q lines(aka. Mages Guild etc.) not fun the one mentioned is the one I hated the most.
FF7
Now I hope this has helped xD

TF2 is always a good time, for me at least.
Nuclear Throne is my go to game as of lately. You can "beat" the game in about 15-20 on average but looping (which makes the game way harder) can mean you can go on forever. Randomly generated fun.
The following games I tend to go back to. These games I have had fun but then I get bored but come back eventually to.
(PC): Luftrausers, BattleBlock Theater, Spelunky, SpeedRunners, Cloudberry Kingdom
(Consoles and Handhelds): Smash Bros. (any of them), Mario Kart (any), Megaman (any).
(Android / iOS): Rayman Jungle Run (Android and iOS), Jetpack Joyride (Android and iOS), Ridiculous Fishing (Android and iOS), Super Crate Box (iOS), Jones on Fire (Android and iOS), Peggle (Android and iOS, There is Peggle on PC as well)

The Witcher 3 is probably my favourite game I have played this year.
But if we are talking a little bit less obvious I thought "Her Story" was outstanding and well worth a go as something a little bit different.
Axiom Verge is also a game I really enjoyed... nearest you are going to get to Metroid not on a Nintendo console.
and my hidden indie game was Porcunipine which is a multiplayer game which reminds me a little of the old Snes Bomberman games but it is the most pure multiplayer fun I have had all year.

The Forest- A fun survival game where you're left stranded on an island trying to defend yourself from cannibals
Rising Storm/Red Orchestra- A magnificent WWII fps
Civilization 5- A great strategy game
Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy- A dated yet still great game about the Jedi and its focus is on lightsaber combat
Gang Beast- This is only if you have friends willing to play with you in your house, its a local co-op brawler

+1 for both games.
In my case I got bored with FTL because I can survive long enough. haha

GTA V is pretty sweet =P
Gone home mechanics are so much fun, but kind of short, a map generator or something like that would do wonders for it.
and New Vegas, that is such a great RPG, replaying and im still finding new stuff.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth- A story about a naked little kid using all kinds of demonic items to kill his mom.
Nuclear Throne- Weird mutants trying to irradiate and transform themselves to get to some throne for some reason
Payday 2- Robbing simulator
Super Meat Boy- Retro-ish; very difficult
Hotline Miami Series- First game had more story and less insane. Second has a shorter story, but more insane action and better soundtrack (in my and I'm guessing a lot of other's opinions).

I never knew that was the story of The Binding of Isaac lol yup them devs are on a diff level

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is probably the game that has most impressed me this year. I can't remember another game that so constantly left me in awe of how gorgeous it is. If you're looking for a game with action/fighting of any sort, look elsewhere. It's a sort of point-and-click, relatively-open-world, tear-jerker (at least in my experience) murder-mystery adventure. Fairly short though; took me about 5 or 6 hours to complete, and I imagine with less exploration it could be done in 3 or 4.

Terraria is so fucking good right now. Just got updated, and has a ton of new stuff. As for how long it's fun for, it depends on how much you like building/survival/RPG type games. So far it has managed to entertain me for several hundred hours, and I've yet to tire of it. I'm working on building a new base at the moment. :b
Fun fact! It was my first win on Steam Gifts. One of my faves, too.

Talos Principle is sooooo good. I never hoped that they make games THAT good in 2015.
Also if you like space, rpg, quests and even strategy then go for Space Rangers.
If it is ok with you for some old and strange but great games then you have to see Vangers.

I can't remember for this WHOLE year, but here's a list of the games I've been playing and enjoying in the past months:
I think that 10 is a good number. It's a really nice number. I like it. I'll stop here.

Basically I'm looking to see what games you/ye have played this year that you/ye found fun and why :) Even more basic - I'm bored.
Now the game that you will be talking about doesn't have to have came out this year & I would prefer if you talked about something that is available on PC (But I'll let you off if you mention more than one and at least one is on PC). I would also like to know if the game stops being fun after a short period of time - long.
PS: Not interested in MMO's as they are mostly based on the people you play with for proper enjoyment.
tl:dr - Press the 'X' image at the top right, red circle on a MAC & have a good day :)
