Wow 120 pages of "bump" XD
I still dnt get it, the bump-thing... the meaning of do that buuuuuuuuut ok~
In my case (and thats is crazy) I try to play all my game on all the console, but is (and was) a mere utopia... I still have PS2 games I just open and play for few minute XD
In the past I used a dedicated cd-collector for the game I must finish but... it was ineffective and full after few years cof cof
Before university play at least 30h each game I own was like a work for me > 30 because I love RPG but I notice I get bored around that time so my complete games list can be count on the fingers of one hand prob -.-
If I considered only the steam games my situation is still desperate, even now I've like 5 tabs on chrome open on old order on HB (only) because I've to remember me I've to reedeem them AHAHAH
I try to play all the game I won, at least and most of the short one are "complete" >.<

In regards to the bump, it's just to show appreciation. When you create a giveaway you want many people to enter, even though it's decreasing everyone chances to win, just to feel it was a good choice and people are interested in your pick. The more awareness the thread gets, more people get a chance to enter, so that's where the need for a bump comes from, at least for me. 👊

I dnt know, I probably prefer more a true comment than a random "bump".
Is almost like the simple "thank" in the giveaway, lazy or bot-like.

Yeah, the value of time is something I worry about too in relation to just thinking about acquiring games, though engaging on this website more than just coming here to dump your points and seeing what puzzles, or just general topics come up is reasonably entertaining at times- it's quite a big community here. Thanks for the giveaways, didn't even know they were porting Nioh until just recently.

Regarding your mumbling: I totally understand. I mean I started playing won games just this year and I'm okay with my progress, but there's still way to go. While there are on the other hand wishlisted AAA games I received by bundles or great discounts I couldn't touch yet. Then there's the time needed for price comparison, gather infos, managing trading cards, solving puzzles ..
Due to my progress this year I haven't given up and still entering GAs, but way less than before. Also I'm buying more bundles myself again (compared to the time before SG activity), so I have less pressure to play these games soon.

Thanks for the chance! I'm pretty busy irl too but even if it's just a few mins a day I can't live without some gaming in the afternoon :)
Don't get stressed over your backlog, you'll play everything eventually, and even if you can't right now you might be securing the fun for when you retire :D

About your 'rumblings', I feel like I made the same realization as you more than once but I'm not yet able to follow through. In the past year I've cut back a lot on buying games (even if heavily discounted or in a cute bundle) and also on entering GAs, but I could do much better. There are just so many games that I'm interested in playing... but I think the only sane way to go is what you did. Hopefully one day I can follow in your footsteps ;)
