I think that the worst thing of skyrim is that you don't have enough time to make all the things.

YOu can spend many, many time playing the game ( like 600 hours ) and you will do a %50 of ALL the activies.

Sorry if i have lame english XD

I played Skyrim 3 hours so far. After finishing Fallout 3 and Fallout NV. This looks the same as these two games. And my mind was looking for connections between them. Similar inventory windows, very very similar fight system. And somehow I didn't like it. It's not as good as Falllout. But one day I'm going to play it until I'll get all the achievements. I've got the dlc and I wonder how building a house looks.

Looting. Without realizing you'll turn into a hoarder and inevitably become gollum.

I just installed a mod that lets me carry a shit ton cause the looting was actually preventing me from playing the game. The fact that I had to decide what to carry was disastrous. I'd spend so much time trying to maximize the worth of my inventory (dropping things that are worth less to pick up higher priced items) that it just got ridiculous. I know, easy solution: stop caring so much about the worth of your loot! Buuuuut I just couldn't. I don't know why. I just became obsessed with it and I couldn't move on. The mod lets me just enjoy the game by picking up anything.

I didn't play any of the other other Elder Scrolls parts (maybe i should ?), but loved skyrim.

Granted there are some bugs. The best one being right at the begining, if the head from the guy getting beheaded didn't fell in the bucket the game broke and you had to restart.
As a programer i can't even understand how someone could think using the head falling in that bucket would be a good way to trigger the next action.

Oh, also f**** that long ride at the begining (always forgot to make an savegame before selecting the char)

Skyrim went quantity/quality that is why. Wheras in Oblivion and Morrowind all of the quests, sidequests included, were at least somewhat interesting. Skyrim's quests were pathetically repetitive, sending you to the same cave 10 times to clear it of 5 different bandit groups and 5 different monster types.

Had it wash-rinse-repeated Oblivion's tactic it would have been the best TES game ever. Instead? It shamelessly went quantity>quality, ruining the one good thing it had that made the game worth playing through the many game breaking bugs. Now I will never buy another TES game as long as I live, and have convinced many of my friends and gaming communities to steer clear of the series as well.

Don't try to do everything on one character. The game is geared towards multiple characters that do different things in the game. I have 3 chars, they all join different guilds, do the quests for different towns etc. That way you can experience the game in many different ways and do everything in game

The story was meh, I didn't really feel that the Imperials were right, nor the Stormcloaks, but Ulfric was an asshole, so I picked Imperials. I also felt like i was getting a little bit too good in everything too quickly.

Bought it on release day for the 360 and played it solidly for about a fortnight in that time I did everything in the base game. Just taking the vanilla game theres far from too much to do.

I can't understand why Skyrim didn't have magic crafting like Oblivion, it was so lame of them to remove it :(

The worst thing about Skyrim is, fire doesn't burn you without a mod. Oh and the spin death animation.

the dull boring unrealistic dungeons.. they might aswell have written on top of the door GAME DUNGEON, they are completly linear, no exploration, whatever you came looking for is at the end, and youll find a conveniently placed exit right at the end.

compare that to my first dungeon crawl on Morrowind, i god inside some ruins looking for a cube there were many rooms i finded some bandits that first told me to get out, but when i refused they attacked me, got deeper and deeper into the ruins slowly killing the bandits one by one because they were so much powerfull, i found some amazing armor and weapons but never seemed to find the cube, then when i was going out i checked a room that was right at the entrance, i didnt realize it was there, there were some shelves in it with loads of valueable stuff and in one of the shelfs just like any other object, it was the cube.

The worst thing is the weight of items. Doing several go and back to take every item of a single donjon and then doing a turn in all the cities to be able to sell everything since merchant have so few money (even with perks) is god damn annoying... im am there to enjoy the game, not being bothered by it.... Also, the lack of co-op id say. otherwise the game is great.
ah, and last point, the little bug here and there that broke a bit the immersoin and the fun.

the shitty animations
I mean just look at cicero for example, the voice sounds as he is some crazy guy but then you look at the body and it isn't right, It's a completely different man
the quest are kind of repetitive
the npcs are boring
they should hire more voice actors
