Just a Train... game giveaway. 🚂

Not really my sorta game. I've been playing lots of different games recently, but I always end up liking 3D Puzzle/Platformers the most.
Some of these I've played this year are:
Woodle Tree (1 & 2)
Spyro Trilogy
Crash Trilogy
Super Lucky's Tale
Snake Pass
Tyler Model 005
Yooka-Laylee
Q.U.B.E. 2
Okami HD
de Blob
Poi
A Hat in Time
Lightmatter
The Turing Test
TRI: Of Friendship and Madness

What games do people here dig? (Apologies if I missed a genre, or wasn't specific enough for you)

I just completed TRI: Of Friendship And Madness and I'm working my way through the Spyro trilogy, but I haven't played it recently. It looks like you only have 1 hour in Antichamber. Did you try it or just idle it for cards? It's one of my favorite games of all time.

Hmm. Is this a game I'm interested in these days?

🍚🥒(´・Θ・`)Interesting. But I don't have one.

( ;'Θ`)Hmm...
I haven't come up with a stimulating game these days that makes me want to take someone else to play.
I'm interested in a multiplayer game with "SIGNAL Emote" that is easy to use, but I can't think of it.
I'm lazy probably because of the changing seasons.(。-Θ-。)ooO(❄Now!⛄Soon)

I can't pick a favorite. I like many different types of games equally, it just depends on what I am in the mood to play. I really like story rich games like P&C or walking sims, open world exploration/survival, first person puzzle games, 2D platformers (especially metroidvania), and racing sims that I can use a wheel and petals with. I don't like most strategy, tactics, simulators, management, roguelike, visual novels, or sandbox games.

I really enjoyed playing A Hat in Time from that list.
My favourite genre is farming/life sims, such as Stardew Valley, My Time at Portia, Slime Rancher, etc.

Platformers all the way! Slight preference to 3D more than 2D though.

I've also been liking walk-sims more and more even though I've only played a few of them.
I like how most of them transition from scenic wide open places into dark, confined spaces and vice-versa at the tip of a hat.

I loved Spyro Reignited Trilogy, i used to love playing Spyro a Hero's Tail and Spyro the Dragon when i was a kid and definitely had a lot of fun with the Reignited Trilogy, also enjoyed Woodle Tree Adventures and Yooka-Laylee, and im looking forward to play Crash Trilogy and Okami HD.
My favourite genre would be 3D Puzzle / 3D platformer and Action Roguelike / Soulslike.

A train indeed. And going by the first of its type, which I loved, it's bound to not be just any old train, but a pretty nice one. :D

I play a bit of everything, from casual time-killers to old console stuff to the heavy-duty time sinks. If I were to somewhat categorize by genre, I guess strategy and platformers would be my most common go-to choices overall, but I also find action-oriented games (ranging all the way from arcade racing to shooters) pretty good to blow off some steam when I'm stressed out, and I've been known to sink hundreds of hours into games from other genres, too.

While I enjoy Time Management (12 Labours of Hercules, Gnomes Garden, etc.) and Hidden Object Games (Grim Legends, Endless Fables, etc.), RPGs are my favourite genre. One of my favourite of all time is Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar for the C64. Such a huge game, so unlike other RPGs of the time, especially considering how little the floppy disks of the time could hold!

I also love the Fallout series. Post apocalyptic settings are very interesting!

I enjoy 2D and 3D platformers/puzzle platformers and also a lot of 3rd person RPGs. I tend to enjoy a lot of puzzle games too. I am not huge into first-person games because of an associated nausea that I often get. But for a good game, I will endure that even in small spurts.

I used to love FPS back in the day, but I'm the same now - FP Puzzle games and Walking Sims are fine, but I struggle playing FPS games - not the nausea so much as my reactions just don't seem to be the same anymore ;)

Thanks for the valley!
In addition to the "games as a service"-type-games I'm currently enjoying "The Witness" very much. It's a masterpiece.

I like a lot of stuff, so it's hard to pick just one. But if I had to pick just one, I guess it would be third-person adventure games.

Pretty balanced. Strategy, RPGs, Sims, Roguelikes are my favorites. Occasionally some visual novel, platformer or racing game. I'm bored by horror or puzzles games, usually.
