Yeah, I was talking about the writing. I just got the game myself a few months ago so I can't say anything for the launch version, but god damn the writing is fucking spectacular. KoToR 1 has it's moment, but KoToR 2 just has so many in my opinion.

+1 I can't imagine another dev having the broad spectrum of sub-devs that could make hay out of the Star Wars brand. KoTOR 3 by Bioware and a Battlefront 3 on a new engine would be fantastic. Give DICE a shot at a Republic Commando squad shooter and I could see some good things.

The only downside is Origin sales suck and it will take a while for my cheap ass to buy any of it.

I don't care what EA does with it, I just simply don't. I only hope some actual good publishers and devs get a chance to make some games too in the franchize. As far as that is fulfilled, EA can shit out all the mundane shit with the speed of light, and I won't think there's a problem with this world.

Okay, I see where most people are getting pissy at EA taking it over (I am slightly pissed as well), but think about it...

The Battlefield games have been great, with all the destructible scenery, awesome graphics, and great gameplay. Visceral could take over 1313 since Dead Space is similar in the fact it's third person. And Bioware, well... They might be able to create KotOR III, maybe... TOR was awful, but they might be able to pull it off... I don't know...

Now I will agree that they will be riddled with DLC which will cost you more than the game itself, but maybe if we get enough people to petition to NOT have DLC for them, then maybe they might listen (highly doubt it but worth a shot, right?).

So look on the bright side... WE WILL HAVE BATTLEFRONT III!!! AND POSSIBLY KOTOR III!!! AND 1313!!! Ignore the DLC stuff until it comes out...
