Uh, no? 1080p on a 40inch means stretched pixel density. It's big, but the picture is worse than my 23 inch monitor.

I won a 42 inch TV from a sweepstakes. I enter them once in a while and don't keep track of which ones I entered. One day the mail guy just drops off a brand new Vizio "smart" TV. I thought it was the wrong address or something but it had my name and correct address on it. I now use it for any games where I play with a controller.

I prefer my 23inch monitor for games over my TV, I do have it hooked up to my TV for XBMC though....

I don't really like to see all my games as if I was using the default minecraft texture pack, but to each his own I guess.
