Sorry, I'm in the states so I didn't have to use a VPN. I was mainly referring to stuff like plugging in a controller to get my time to count while idling and taking advantage of the system clock.

Does anyone know if the Master keys generated by the Intel app are tied to the email address in any way, or can they be redeemed on another account? I.e. if I already own games on a given tier, could I give it to a friend to redeem on their Intel Software account? Apologies if this has been asked before but No time to read through 8 pages of posts at the moment.

pepper's reply is correct. once you linked your code to an account, and i assume you can't get any reward, giving the login to someone else won't fix it. Sorry, but that master code is ruined.

I haven't claimed any game on my first master key it says the following: "We are temporarily out of codes and are working to reload our system. Please contact support to be notified when available". So im guessing they wont even restock any keys, To reply to dothacker that is correct the master key is ruined i even gave my email to my us friend and he contacted support and they replied with: We are sorry but your account is flagged for being outside the United States which is really interesting on how they managed to detect vpn's.

that's the "blue screen of death" for this promotion. There's no way around that - they flagged IP at time of creation and any (working) master keys are locked out if used on those accounts.
you'd need a non-redeemed master key + someone outside's intel account to get it.

I'll probably rebuy among us on steam if I ever play it. The epic version is (or was?) broken when I last tried it during the intel giveaway. Wouldn't let me create/login to an account and forced me to play as a guest

I think that worked for me OK. But the Intel thing certainly didn't recognize it the game via Epic. I got the overlay but it never recorded any time played on it. Intel was probably looking at Steam APIs or something for playtime, not just the game running on your PC.

It doesn't check the Steam API. All it does is check for the filename. You could literally change the filename of any program to the same as Among Us and open it and it'll count. Worked for Chivalry and the other games as well

[EDIT]: I submitted a ticket and they fixed my login accessibility after one day. I didn't like that the Error 500 code was basically saying I was having a connection issue when it was clearly on them. :)
