I don't think you understood what I said in my previous comment. I said that you can create a thread in the group recruitment section if you will be using the group to give away games here on steamgifts. It sounds like you are going to be giving away Cryofall directly through the Steam group and not here on steamgifts. That would not be allowed in this section because the giveaways are not being done here on steamgifts. If you want to create the giveaway for Cryofall here on steamgifts, you can restrict it so that only users of your group will be allowed to enter and that would be allowed because you are doing the giveaways through this site.

Also, I see that you are now asking users to join your curator. That is not allowed in the group recruitment section either. Advertising for things like this was previously not allowed anywhere in steamgifts discussions, but there is a newer section of the discussions called "user projects". I think you are allowed to advertise your group and curator there.

To not break the rules and risk a suspension, I think you would need to create the giveaways for the group here on steamgifts or move this thread to the user projects section. If you want to move the thread, you don't need to close this one and create a new one, you can just edit this one and there is a spot to change the category to "user projects".

Sorry for the confusion. The rules here changed recently with the addition of the user projects section and knowing what is allowed and not allowed in certain sections of the discussions is a bit confusing.

You know, there is a whole section here called Help at the top of your viewport, dedicated to new users to read to avoid making mistakes.
Please have a look at the FAQ and the Guidelines I linked you earlier.
As of now, you are still breaking the rules.

I've edited the post to add a second giveaway which is through this site only. I didn't want to move the Cryofall giveaway to this site due to the fact that it would not be fair to folks who already joined the steam group to enter. In other words, changing the Cryofall giveaway to this site would be adding an additional step which was not stated when they entered.
