The Slayers. It's an old, uber-cheesy fantasy anime from the 90s about the greatest sorceress ever. There are OVA movies, too, but FUNimation uploaded the whole tv series to Youtube.

You can never go wrong with some good comedies that will both enlighten you and make you laugh - some good ones that are short and sweet are Black Adder, Vicious, IT Crowd. Some more juvenile but still fun is Blue Mountain State and Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia (both are about assholes doing assholish things and I love it).

The Flash, Daredevil,Gotham

All I watched was all episodes of South park.
And I almost finished Workaholics.

I don't know what genres you prefer so I'm just gonna list some shows I'm watching at the moment

• Gotham - The show takes place in Gotham (duh) after the murder of Bruce Wayne's parents. It focuses more on the origin stories of characters and the actions of GCPD. The first season has mostly focused on the Penguin. First couple of episodes are kind of meh and full of new character introductions but after that the series really gets going

• Better Call Saul - Spin off series of Breakin Bad, focusing on Walter White's lawyer, Saul Goodman. So far it's been a fun ride and I can't wait to see what happens next.

• Brooklyn Nine-Nine - A comedy series about the everyday lives of Brooklyn's 99th precinct. Featuring such actors as Andy Samberg and Terry Crews

• Rick and Morty - An animated series influenced by Back to the Future. The story focuses on Rick (a sociopathic scientist and a drunkard) and his grandson Morty (good-natured but easily influenced 14-year-old boy) and their adventures all over the universe.

Hum... Better Call Saul (Watch Breaking Bad first in case you still didnt), Flash, Arrow, Daredevil, Game of Thrones, iZombie, Agents of Shield are the tv shows that Im watching atm and can definitely recommend. Also Hannibal and True Detective are amazing.

Some other decent ones: Bones and Castle, but they're both cop shows.

If you have any interest in anime or cartoons, I'd recommend: Avatar, Hunter X Hunter 2011, Gravitation, Trigun.

I don't watch a lot of TV series, but the first season of War of the Worlds (and ONLY the first season) was really good.

Without knowing your taste, i can safely say Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Suits...

Masters of sex is a great tv series if you want to know more of the first scientific studies about the human sexuality.

I just started on Orphan Black (conspiracy thriller, deals with clones. Plot hits the ground running and doesn't let up for the first few episodes at least. Also: lead actress pulls of 4 entirely different characters in as many episodes, and has 2 one-scene wonders on top of that. Quite a feat)

Besides that, going through Elementary. Which is well-written, and interesting to watch as it is probably the most unfaithful Sherlock Holmes adaption I've seen without becoming unrecognisable. (In contrast with Sherlock, as that strives to be as faithful retellings of the classic stories as the modernized setting allows).

Also, DareDevil, as others recommended.
Because it's more of a Maffia story with a superhero vigliante thrown in the mix, than a superhero series where the bad guys happen to be maffiosi, and it is done quite well. Also, yes, there's tie-ins with the Marvel movie universe, but that's kept mostly to background events and/or fuel for quips in the dialog.
