Best Antivirus?

I use AVG, it's free and i'm safe for years

I personally haven't used an AntiVirus in the past 2 years, downloaded Avast and ran a Scan and.. not a single virus was there.

AVAST ANTIVIRUS!

I don't know if it's the best, but I use Avast and I personally think it's great.

Kaspersky and Bitdefender are continously scoring high in tests year after year. If you want to pay, I recommend those two. I use them myself and have no problems. As for the interface, I like Bitdefender more.

No antivirus FTW

I used to use Kaspersky Pure 3.0, I had gotten it legit and paid $60 until it said it couldn't do any updates and my serial number was invalid. This pissed me off so I switched to avast pro 2013, much better and the vpn is cool.

Comodo. I use Comodo Internet Security which includes both antivirus and firewall. And you can use it for free.

People saying brain, you're all idiots. Any site can be hacked. Look at Operation Aurora, Google was hit. 0 day exploits don't need confirmation from a java applet. You could easily visit any website that was hacked, get infected with a keylogger/RAT without knowing, and go on with your day saying "Wow my brain is a great AV".

BitDefenders is the best antivirus currently. However, it depends what you search and what you do with your computer : BitDefenders is great and complete, but tons of options are useless for common users and gamers.

I highly recommand Avast for a quite basic and free use, which is barely enough for the majority of people.

Kaspersky Pure. But only first generation because 2.0 and 3.0 to buggy.This is not only antivarus there are a lot of other usefull options.
