From what I've read, the first 1000 people to pay $10 or more got Starbound, and that offer was over very quickly. I'm not sure if $10 was the BTA, or if they started with three tiers -- the 4 games for $1, the 2 BTA games, and the limited $10 Starbound. Maybe someone else does.

I would say that the 1000 people really didn't have the game and therefore not giving it away. I see no reason why would it be bundled.
