Its odd.
Your clicky works but the page itself doesnt seem functional yet.

It works for me. Maybe you don't have the required age or you entered a wrong number last time it asked you..?

No no I mean I can see the page but some of the links within it dont seem to work.
Added to my wishlist (yes im one of the few that actually enjoys this one), its not on my wishlist, clicked onto the forums, it refreshes the page.
Im not saying you did anything funky, just to clarify, just that the page code doesnt seem done yet, or at least as of when I checked last.
Comment has been collapsed.
AH, I think I know why... Do you have a bad Internet connection? Because it happened to me when I had some connection problems.
Comment has been collapsed.
I wouldnt call it bad.
Maybe its some other issue, I had just assumed the code was funky for some reason.
Cause now its on my wishlist and the page loads properly, even has the "releasing on X day" thing above the buy it option.

For me its like the worst FF game ever but fuck it: its on PC! Now I just wait for FFX ;D

sadly was the case it does get better as you play it. the first 10 hours is like a tutorial.

yup terrible, I've played it and didn't like anything about the game, good thing I borrowed it from a friend saving me the hassle to buy it, even to this day, I've skipping buying it in the stores even when it's on sale for 10-15 bucks
Edit: I've actually completed it from start to finish, it wasn't clear from my first post, so I'm not part of the ones who complains without even bothering completing the game :D
Plus I'd hit Hope and Vanille with a rusty spoon until their life was drained from their useless bodies...

Why would a japanese game have japanese voices? Don't be ridiculous
Comment has been collapsed.
then strange, why did i read this on the store page ?
Please read the following information before purchasing this game.
"The following Asian languages are supported by the version of this game released for Japan and the rest of Asia.
Subtitles and interface: Japanese, Chinese (traditional), Korean, English
Voiceover: Japanese"

One thing: Final Fantasy XIII is such high quality game that even it's price reflects this. Especially if you'll compare it to Final Fantasy III Final Fantasy IV Final Fantasy VII or Final Fantasy VIII
Why newest game of them all is the cheapest one? I know, -10% discount. But still...

I only hope it's not one of the "worse" versions, with missing content, because I remember in some DS games of Naruto, there was the normal (Japanese version) and the European, which had missing game content, this content was only available in Japan, but in the latest Naruto games on PC nothing like this happened, but I don't know about Final Fantasy.

I'll be the dissenting opinion and say that I really enjoyed this game. Yes, it's very linear and corridor-y for the first dozen hours or so. But for me, sometimes that's fine as long as it's still a well crafted experience, which I believe it is. I hope XIII-2 and Lightening Returns are released, as I haven't played them yet.

FFs aren't really that open world/non-linear in genreal; though the world map hides it pretty well.
FFX was similar in its linearity though no one complained about that.

I enjoyed it a lot too, completed it 100% on my PS3, and I enjoyed the second one even more (completed it as well), Caius is one of my favourites villains from a game. I still have to buy the third one, I hope they don't fuck it up, though it's getting really weird.

Bobofatt, some spoilers (no story related, mostly gameplay):
13-2 is annoying from my own experience, basically instead of corridors you get portals to warp everywhere you wanna go. Fighting is too straight forward on this one aswell, you get the right paradigms sets for each difficult boss and it's not even a problem anymore. FF13 at least had some higher difficulty encounters. The only positive thing about this game is being able to capture wild creatures and use them in battle, aswell as level them up, yes just like a pokemon. x)
Lightning returns, never played it but i heard it has a constant timer ticking in-game, so you are forced to beat the game under a certain time limit, might take a huge impact in the end as you have no freedom to play as you wish. Something FF10 also lacked but other than that it was amazing.

no steam trading cards :/ like hello make some effort man.
but the other 2 are coming in the short months they are working on it.
the price isnt half bad even without the discount

Most AAA publishers, especially Japanese, have no idea about the PC marketplace and just "dump" their games on Steam. It's getting a bit better, a couple Japanese publishers have added these things to some of their newer games.

Just so you know: it is one of the most linear, dumbed down, hand-holding FF games ever.
Maybe that explains the price on Steam now

imagin 80% off winter sale
pay like 3USD$ for it lol

So it's one of those games that pale in comparison to their predecessors thus making most of the people who have played the previous titles hate them... yet are still appealing enough for people who haven't played the previous titles to enjoy them enough for them to become relatively popular.
Hmmm, now I'm interested to try it out- I may be able to make an analogy between FFXIII and DmC and finally figure out how people could like that game.
Yes, perfect plan... as soon as they add it in a bundle or something. :D

For those who have wanted to play it, but don't own a console or just plain wanted it on PC, this is awesome news. But I'm uninterested. I really tried giving this game a fair shake on the 360. And while I didn't think it was the best entry in the series, I was not upset about the $12 I spent on it. Until... that damn alarm. After a couple hours of non-stop alarm going off (battles, cutscenes, world) I threw in the towel. I tried looking past the constant barrage of tutorials introducing new mechanics every hour or two. I tried connecting to the characters (only one I really liked was Sazh and his Frocobo). This game just tried really hard to make me not enjoy it, and in the end, succeeded. I promptly gave it away to a friend. XD

It is actually surprising how many people i know who played FFXIII told me they just dropped it later halfway through it mostly due to boredom. One of the most common complaints i heard was that the game felt like a giant tutorial for first 20 hours

It might be possible to just download the audio files for the Japanese version and replace the English audio with them.

Most of the characters were unlikable, the story was super convoluted and still wasn't making much sense when I stopped around 23 hours into the game, there are tutorials on a near constant basis for the first 20 hours. Do you think it's good because the graphics are awesome? It may not be the worst game I've ever played, and it held me for over 20 hours (if a game doesn't have my interest within 2 hours, there's no point), but I can't agree that the game is good. And the statement that it gets good at around 30-40 hours doesn't save it. If it takes a work week for a game to get good, it isn't good. I'd love to hear why you think otherwise, though.

Most of the game is a hallway, the first 10 chapters actually. The game pretty much only starts once you get to chapter 11, at which point it becomes a grindfest. Not to mention the story is entirely mediocre, Vanille makes me feel like I'm watching something illegal whenever she jumps (she makes really "awkward" sounds), Hope just hurts to watch/listen to...If you haven't played every other FF game already (10-2 excluded), then there's a much better FF game to be played than 13.

Final Fantasy XIII is pretty good. Might be one of the worst entries in the franchise (still better than VII in my opinion), but still fun to play. And, as someone else said, Final Fantasy at its worst, is still Final Fantasy.
The soundtrack is okay, graphics are cool, gameplay is okay, plot and characters are better than I expected them to be.

Good for FF fans on Pc but i prefer FF XV to all of these mediocre FF games SE made lately
