[FREE] Temtem stress test key [Steam] [Restocked]

Of the 40 mins or so of trying the game, I got about 5 mins of actual game time in between waiting in the queue to play, and server restarting and me having to wait to connect again. 4 of those gameplay minutes was setting up my character.

Almost the same experience. Out of 55 minutes I've got 5 minutes in character creation screen and less than 5 minutes of actual gameplay. After those few minutes of actual gameplay I've got stuck in 1st combat, with nothing happening for minutes after choosing my attack and target.

What a shame, taking into the account, that they expect to launch in just 10 days. Uninstalled already.

I mean this was a stress test to stress test the servers, if you expected gameplay, then play at launch. this is basically a beta test with a focus on stress testing their servers

Yep, server testing is essential, however not being able to play the game to test it’s worth doesn’t leave a good first impression. As mentioned, it’s due to go live in 10 days, and with a supposed $35 price tag, it’d be nice to see it stable.
Guy below mentions it got better, so we’ll see how things go next weekend :)

If you are satisfied, then I'm glad you are. As for me, I have done quite a few Alpha, Beta and Stress Test, and out of all of them I was able to get at least some, usually quite satisfying, gameplay.
This one was just giving them my time for nothing, and seemed like a total mess to me, at one point with them finally posting a message "Servers are currently off, we're deploying a new patch. Wait a bit!" like at least 10 minutes after the server went down.

It got much better during the last hour. They were rebooting the servers just about every 30 minutes-ish, it's all there under Discord -> Temtem -> Announcements

I was "playing" for about 3 1/2 hours out of the 4 total for today. Rough at the start, got better during the course of the stress test.

I was only limited to be able to play for the first hour or so :)
I’ll definitely try again next weekend, hopefully they sort some of the issues people had in the meantime.

When I got the email for this, I didn't think I'd be interested in playing it. But, after trying it in the stress test, I think the characters are really cute, and I'm tempted. Some of the NPC eyes are bizarre / creepy, though. Maybe it's an uncanny valley thing.

Do we know the expected launch price? Is this a monthly subscription thing?

Well, they promise no pay-to-win. I suppose cosmetic stuff and possibly expansions could happen at some point...

$35.... in Early Access.
In other words, it's not going to release as a complete/finished game on the 21st, it just means it'll be available to purchase and play with whatever amount of content there is.
