Some stuff for the new year (3+)

So 2015 was alright. There's stuff to complain about, but I've certainly had worse. My main issue has been motivation, trying to find the drive to finish a million different things that I've always set out to do. I was supposed to finish a novel and didn't even get close, so that's a bummer, but 2016 will be different.

I'm not really into the whole resolution thing. I'm more into forcing myself kicking and screaming into my goals by making promises that others will hold me accountable for if I slip. On that note, I'm starting an interesting project next year where I'll be playing a different game every day and writing about it, half as a way to feel accomplished, but also as an excuse to clear out some of my backlog.
